Glad to see him get off him off his IU knee pads to do his job.Wait- is a Brian Snow crystal ball pick good or bad?

It looks like it just moved to high on confidence for whatever that’s worth. May mean something or just a guessAny pick is good but if its not close to the players commitment it doesn't mean much.
Plus they added that new confidence meter and it was a medium pick whatever that means
Any comps for Heide?Heide highlights look good. So will he be a 3 in college?
Any comps for Heide?
That’s funny as I was initially thinking Recker, but I also think Wieskamp from Iowa might be a fair comparison. Not sure how Joe was as a Sophomore in high school, but I think Heide can grow his game into something similar to Joe’s now.Maybe Luke Recker? Just watched a highlight video and he did the same between the legs dunk as a sophomore Recker did at the slam dunk contest his senior year (really don't know why I remember that lol). Don't remember Recker's outside shot but Heide has range, a bit slow on the gather/release right now.
I don't think he is nearly the same sort of shooter Wieskamp was. Probably bigger and a much better athleteThat’s funny as I was initially thinking Recker, but I also think Wieskamp from Iowa might be a fair comparison. i think heide is quite a bit more athletic than weiskamp is/was.
but I don’t have a better comparison.
Grayson was a blue chip recruit. Similar playing styles, but not on Grayson’s level. Is it a fair comp or not?

I didn’t follow recruiting at that time, so I have no idea.Wasn’t Recker a blue chip recruit?

McDonald's all-american if memory serves me correctWasn’t Recker a blue chip recruit?
Grayson being a much bigger baby too...perhaps one of the biggest of all time. That should be a new OT thread: biggest babies we remember from over the years.Probably, Grayson is more athletic I think.

I see a lot of Tre Galloway in him as well...a guy that Painter identified and was in on early, and, who would have been a great fit at Purdue...and benefited from it rather than being desperate for whatever reason(s) to go to IU.William Buford is my high end comp. Good shooter, sneaky athleticism, can use size to score at 3 levels. Potential to be great college player that sticks 3-4 years that will make other B1G teams wonder when he will ever leave. Buford was so good, but never could crack those draft boards and always came back to punish the B1G again.
Heide's picture on 247 looks like the kid from The Wonder Years with a bad haircut.
Does anybody know if we can expect any more recruiting commitments in the near future. Thanks
A Rivals guy (Russ Wood) has also picked Purdue just recently. Don't know who Russ is.Seems like things are picking up with Heide but haven’t found much info for a couple days. Maybe someone has more insight there? I saw Brian Snow raised the confidence number in his Purdue prediction recently.
Coach Cutlip!Fred Savage.....with a slight "drop" in competition from AAU.
What's the chances he chooses Purdue?

Looks like we're gonna find out.I like Jameel but I don't particularly want to add him if Fletcher signs because I think it would hurt our chances of landing McMillan or Thornton.
Thornton is off the board, but does Heide fit with Brown and Loyer?Looks like we're gonna find out.
It is becoming more and more clear, as CMP stated on Dakich's show, get all the great shooters we can, with some bigs, and go from there. Especially with the new transfer rules. Grab all the great ones and see who becomes even greater.Thornton is off the board, but does Heide fit with Brown and Loyer?
Guys who shoot 60+% from 2 and guys who shoot 40% from 3.It is becoming more and more clear, as CMP stated on Dakich's show, get all the great shooters we can, with some bigs, and go from there. Especially with the new transfer rules. Grab all the great ones and see who becomes even greater.
