He names Michigan first and then Us second. Sounds like it's UM with us in as a close second🤔We are in the Final 4. He forgot Michigan State when he was listing the schools so probably not them 😀.

It’s pretty funny, assuming it was intentional. Definitely makes me think that he is choosing Michigan. We are in the Final 4. He forgot Michigan State when he was listing the schools so probably not them 😀.
Looking at drive times from St Louis:
West Lafayette - 4 hours 15 minutes
Columbus - 6 hours 23 minutes
Ann Arbor and East Lansing - 7 hours 45 minutes
"5 tool scoring PG"?I'm less concerned with the bigs and more concerned with getting a 5 tool scoring PG. We lose Ivey after this year.
"5 tool scoring PG"?
"5 tool" players rarely really are..."5 tool scoring PG"?
1) score from outside"5 tool scoring PG"?
I honestly wasn't trolling. I was unfamiliar with the term referencing basketball players and was looking to understand. I guess I would define a 5 tool PG as follows:Everyone needs a PG to hit homers, steal bases, etc...
Are they?Aren't most NBA PGs?
I honestly wasn't trolling. I was unfamiliar with the term referencing basketball players and was looking to understand. I guess I would define a 5 tool PG as follows:
- Able to read the defense and direct the offense with good passing skills.
- Able to break down the defense and drive to the basket to score or pass to the open teammate.
- Able to hit outside shots at a good percentage.
- Able to bring the ball up against the press with good ball-handling skills .
- High basketball IQ, understanding when to do all of the above. (May be a restatement of 1. above.)
I believe that the 5 tools that Bonefish was referring to are:Are they?
Even if that's correct, how many "NBA PGs" are in the college ranks right now? And, how many of those TRULY have all 5 skills? (Need to objectively define that one!)
I don't watch enough NBA to know how many are/aren't, but I do think that an NBA team needs scoring/shooting out of all 5 positions. Are they?

wait, what?I don't watch enough NBA to know how many are/aren't, but I do think that an NBA team needs scoring/shooting out of all 5 positions.
Yes. No reason not to have a 6 tool player.Maybe also include very good FT % as well?
Don’t forget the IQ thing. 😐Who cares how many tools a player has as long as they have 5 stars and lots of high major offers.
Just amazes me that our coach always turns plan C into a plan A playerI suppose we kinda knew he had cooled on us, but that’s kinda disappointing.
I am glad we have a coach that executes plan C beautifully, but I don’t think we have landed a plan A center since swanigan- unless Trevion was a plan A center.

Yep, Trevion Williams turned into a 5 star. Ranked #16 in these rankings. Edey should be in this list too. Ivey ranked #9:Just amazes me that our coach always turns plan C into a plan A player
TX you're always there for great Purdue basketball discussions. Thanks for keeping us all informed.Yep, Trevion Williams turned into a 5 star. Ranked #16 in these rankings. Edey should be in this list too. Ivey ranked #9:
Tre was a plan A. Painter was on him early and stayed on him thru the foot injury.I suppose we kinda knew he had cooled on us, but that’s kinda disappointing.

yeah, that wasn't a smart reply.
Williams and Furst.I suppose we kinda knew he had cooled on us, but that’s kinda disappointing.

I do expect that they were promised to be given the opportunity to develop into a 4 and 3. I hope that by the time they leave they are are there.I’m not counting Furst or TKR as centers. They are both forwards imo.
FIFY!!!Essegian down to his top 7 schools. I was thinking we might jump in and then redshirt but we need the scholly for a potential big or 5 tool G, as our board TOOL would say 😉. Go for Hart or Parker F in 2023 as a shooter for that class.
