Hey all, first post on here, not sure if it fits in here...
I made Purdue's roster for the upcoming season (assuming no more changes) on NBA 2K20 and simulated a season against other college teams from this recent season. I used 10 minute quarters so it's a 40-minute game instead of 48 minutes.
Here are the overall ratings, the 2K generated descriptions based on their ratings, and stats (note the best player in the entire roster is Markus Howard who is an 86 OVR on Marquette):
C Trevion Williams - 79 OVR Interior Finisher (16 PPG, 9 RPG, 3 APG, 52% FG)
SG/PG Eric Hunter Jr. - 78 OVR Mid-Range Specialist (13 PPG, 3 RPG, 4 APG, 44% FG)
SF/SG Sasha Stefanovic - 75 OVR 3PT Specialist (11 PPG, 3 RPG, 2 APG, 42% FG)
PG/SF Ethan Morton - 75 OVR Pass-First Point (7 PPG, 4 RPG, 4 APG, 41% FG)
SG/SF Jaden Ivey - 74 OVR Offensive-Minded Guard (9 PPG, 2 RPG, 2 APG, 44% FG)
PG Isaiah Thompson - 73 OVR 3PT Playmaker (4 PPG, 1 RPG, 2 APG, 36% FG)
PF Aaron Wheeler - 73 OVR Stretch Four (6 PPG, 5 RPG, 1 APG, 37% FG)
PF Mason Gillis - 73 OVR Rebounder (4 PPG, 5 RPG, 0 APG, 37% FG)
SF/SG Brandon Newman - 72 OVR 3PT Specialist (8 PPG, 2 RPG, 1 APG, 44% FG)
C Zach Edey - 68 OVR Interior Finisher (2 PPG, 2 RPG, 0 APG, 42% FG)
C Emmanuel Dowouna - 66 OVR Prospect (Didn't get minutes)
And yeah this adds up to 80 PPG and the main reason is because the shot clock and pace are still like the NBA given it's an NBA video game. But I think for the most part those stats seem in the realm of possibility for those guys. For the freshmen and redshirts I based most of their ratings off video and scouting reports since I haven't seen them play.
If you're interested in trying the roster out on a PS4, it's called Purdue 2020 and my gamertag is jeremy36242. Purdue's team is under the "All-time Warriors" team
