Purdue will play the first two rounds of the NCAA Tourney right here in West Lafayette.

I said it before and will say it again, I like Walter's youth and energy, but you can't fix his inexperience overnight.

Purdue should find a retired high-quality coach to mentor CW. I think some of these older coaches would enjoy the opportunity to come along side younger coaches, get back into the heady side of coaching, and teach.

CW has earned the opportunity to get his players in his system but will need to produce better results next year, or he can start to think about hanging out with Mr. Allen.

For a change of pace around here, anybody putting money in Bitcoin, Ethereum or any alt coins? I'm kicking myself for not buying some bitcoin years ago. I played around with mining a few years ago but didn't do much and lost interest because the price was only around 30-40 a coin. Now.. $2500 a coin. I just recently started reading up on it but it looks like a potential change is coming Aug1 for bitcoin which could drive the price down, or at least drive money to an alternative in the short term. Ethereum is a leading contender, LiteCoin also could benefit. It's a fascinating and relatively undiscovered area investment-wise but appears to be on the verge of blowing up as it is becoming mainstream.

Thoughts?

With QB John Mateer probably entering the portal and rumored to follow Arbuckle to Oklahoma as OC, Purdue should hire him and have him bring Mateer with him.

Purdue also needs to commit more money to NIL and to the assistant coach's pool. I think IU's assistant coaching pool is now at $11MM per year.
