According to The Athletic, UNC is talking to Belichick about their coaching position. First of all, I'm not convinced this is going to happen, but I have two thoughts:

1) I think it would be a spectacular failure. Belichick has never coached college, never recruited, never won without Brady at QB

2) If it does happen, it makes it more likely that some of our top choices (especially Chadwell IMO) would be more likely to be available.

I 've watched them like 4 or 5 times this year, I know alot of bought talent etc., they just don't impress me. The announcers keep sayin Sark is an offensive genius and play caller, never been impressed w/ him neither.

Trump has been talking about getting the Panama Canal back, but we really need to build a new canal across Central America without locks. The Panama Canal is too slow and too small to accommodate today's large container ships and oil tankers. This time the US buys the land instead of leasing it for 99 years.

The large Lake Nicaragua on the Nicaragua-Costa Rica border. The San Juan River drains the lake along the border to the east into the Atlantic Ocean. This provides the pathway for most of the proposed canal. Then another short canal with locks will need to be built from Lake Nicaragua to the Pacific Ocean.

I obviously don't know how scheduling works for these types of things, but introducing the new football coach at 9am on a Tuesday morning at Mackey with nothing else surrounding it seems a little, I don't know, weird? Are you going to get several thousand people there? I doubt it. Granted the deal and travel likely couldn't have gotten done in time for the basketball game yesterday, but couldn't it be timed better?

Musk is exactly right. Manned fighter planes are now obsolete. Drone and missile technology has reached the point when any piloted aircraft can be easily taken out. The same is true of tanks. They are obsolete, right now. A Javelin fire-and-forget missile can be carried and fired by a single soldier. Ukraine reports a 94% kill rate with the first Javelin missile.

Apologies if this was posted elsewhere, but does anyone have a clip of Caleb's missed dunk versus Maryland. I was multitasking and sort of half saw it out of the corner of my eye. My first reaction was that even though he missed it, that's a positive development for Caleb. In high school and earlier in his Purdue career, we saw that he could be a more explosive finisher than he's been showing. I'd rather see him try to dunk everything and miss a few than regularly get his shot blocked.
