There is still a lot of work to do with three very important series to finish the season, but after blowing out DePauw tonight 15-0 Purdue is 30-15 with 10 regular season games today. If It wins six of those it should be in the discussion heading to the B1G tourney. A Big Ten regular season title probably locks up an at large bid (like basketball, the B1G tourney winner gets an autobid).

FTR: Purdue baseball has only made the NCAAs three times (1987, 2012, 2018) and it has won the Big Ten just twice (1909, 2012).

Purdue and Indiana face off in maybe the biggest series in the history of the rivalry in baseball.

Figured I’d make this to track some possible portal addtions. Tons of really good prospects are already in there.

There were a lot of red hot takes this year and while many of those posters only show up pre-season or after losses, I thought I'd confess where my expectations were off coming into the year and encourage others to do the same. Ethan Morton will average at least 20 mpg and will shoot in the low to mid 30% range from three on low volume.

Biggest Surprise
I realized going into the season that there would be a minutes crunch at the 4/5. I did not expect Caleb to see his minutes cut so drastically by Zach playing so many minutes and Caleb essentially playing only at the 5. Seeing 12 mpg wouldn't surprise me but 9mpg for the season and closer to 5 or 6 down the stretch would have.
