For the first time in the history of Democracy

lol what have I been wrong about? How would you even know? I’ve said next to nothing here, ever. You’re just making things up. I don’t post much, but I do read this board regularly for entertainment, so I know for sure that you are indeed a moron who blames the government for everything. 🤷‍♂️

Lol your post history is easy to read. So no not making things up. Clearly a radical lefty wrong on several things as the election shows.

You do need assistance in your arguments too. When you call people names as part of your argument......as the Dems found out Tuesday, you have already lost.

For the first time in the history of Democracy

The incumbent party lost votes in every developed nation in the world. I don’t think any candidate from either party could have won reelection in 2024, much less a lackluster one like Harris. The post covid inflation was too much to overcome, even though we managed it better than pretty much any other country.

Just thought this was a pretty interesting piece of big picture data.

FWIW, there are many starting to want more focus on their country rather than the globalist agenda. The reason Harris lost was due to an empty suit and nobody having an idea how she would correct the Biden/Harris problems being in the middle of causing them. It is interesting, but to take all the sources of variation and assume they all result from the same thing can be very misleading without really understand such. Still, we know people are fickle and could think the government is needed to do everything and when they don't deliver...

I've said before, but will say again...I could make a progressively tougher exam to measure some knowledge threshold in some domain and by doing so could show graphically that as foot size increased in male and female student so did the knowledge obtained from k-12 grades. The graphs would clearly show that as the foot size increased, so did the attainment of knowledge. The obvious conclusion for many would be that foot size being highly, positively, correlated with knowledge would indicate the need to stretch the feet to accomplish the goal of more knowledge, but the reality hidden as a co-variate is that the foot size grew as the student aged and the knowledge increased and it was aging, rather than foot size that really resulted in knowledge growth.

For the first time in the history of Democracy

One would think after Dems calling Rs garbage, Nazis & Hitler and a threat to Democracy,.......only to lose in an electoral landslide and red wave......that they could then develope the good sense, to remember -- when you call someone names, you have lost the argument.

But here you are losing again by calling me names. Good luck with that strategy.

🤔 Clearly you have been wrong about several things as this election shows. Perhaps a time to pause & reflect would be in order.

Hell yeh I'm gonna spike the football!

I woke up this morning sing this…

Half of America is waking up wondering how America could elect Trump without realizing that the other half of America couldn’t understand WTF the Biden Administration was trying to accomplish with their stupid policies over the past 4 yrs.

Yes, word matter…but ACTIONS speak louder than words and the Biden Administration’s actions for the past 4 yrs caused more pain in America than any actions Trump has done since the pandemic. Right, wrong or indifferent.
When my daughter texted me Wednesday morning asking how I "felt", I responded with this

What’s your retort when this happens? You better start thinking about it. I’ve watched CNN the last few days and your people are off the rails.
When? Really?

My reply will be the same as it was 4 years ago if they storm the Capitol and beat up police in the hope of stopping the certification. It's not patriotic, it's not American, it's borderline treason. They should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

The problem is, Harris has conceded. Biden isn't calling election officials and pressuring them to find votes. There are no alternate slates of electors trying to change the outcome. Biden isn't pressuring his AG to investigate voter fraud. There isn't a plan to replace him with someone who will. There aren't whack jobs invited into the Oval Office telling him the voting machines are rigged by Venezuela.

Harris and Biden will be at the inauguration, not hiding at home whining about how they were cheated.

Joe Rogan endorses Trump

That happens when one thinks Blacks are different than other racial groups which he does. Somehow they need courted differently he claimed.

🤔 I know if I thought exactly that -someone might call me racist. But I will leave that to BNI's reflection.
Being called a racist these days has about as much impact as someone calling you a fart-head.

Deportation Plans???

Has anyone read any good articles on how this would work? I haven't seen it. Or want to theorize on how it might happen?

Clearly 62% poll to deport so support is out there even though I am in the 38%

Wonder if Trump will be more selective in mass deportation now that Latinos are trending voting up for the Rs??
I think he starts deporting those known criminals here illegally and picks the low hanging fruit early. He was publicly against the illegals. If we assume that "legals" voted for him (although we know this wasn't 100%) knowing he was wanting to deport illegals, then it seems to follow that the "legals" are also against the illegals as they too compete for jobs and ...

The ACA threw me since in my mind it has been the UCA (unaffordable care act) ;)

Hell yeh I'm gonna spike the football!

You started a thread on dems inciting violence. Sky is trying to set expectations for it. It's all about trying to equate any protests that happen with J6 to make yourselves feel better........while at the same time continuing to act like J6 was nothing more than a tea party.

There will be protests in the next 4 years. Some may turn violent, especially if trump and his thin skin decide to call in the troops because he can't tolerate citizens exercising their right to free speech when it happens to be against him.

Pardoning the J6ers, instances of immigrant children being dragged out of their homes (what if some of them have guns and decide to use them), using the DOJ to go after his enemies in politics or the media.........any of these and more will trigger protests and give him the opportunity to show how tough he is. Then everybody here can feel better about J6.
Man, you just don't get it. Just like BNI holding a death grip on racism being the reason Harris got whupped, your Alamo is Jan 6.
Guess what.....NOBODY cares! I only respond because I love watching someone self-immolate.

And yeh, I'm looking forward to Trump pardoning people, and holding illegal immigrants accountable for breaking our laws and going on the revenge tour against those who brought false claim after false claim against him in an effort to prevent what happened on Tuesday. It's time to pay the piper!

State of the Union

CRW is a big boy and made his own decision to take the Purdue job... The administration handed him updated infrastructure, the fan base has supported him,and he seized his own momentum in securing higher ranked recruits both in H.S. and from the portal.
At the end of the day, the man has to show that he is a leader of men and competitively field a football team......
CRW's biggest failure IMO has been his failure in managing expectations. Has he done so because he is a poor evaluator of assistant coaches and players or did he assemble the best staf and players that he could attract to Purdue?
At his hiring, CRW stated that Purdue had handed him the keys to a Maserati. In season two,it is clear that the young and inexperienced coah has driven the program into the ditch....
Nobody should have been under any illusion as to how much of a ball-buster schedule CRW was saddled with, but I fail to see ANY semblance of a plan/scheme/ vision that is being developed by CRW during this debacle of a season that we can either hang our hat on, or effectively sell to recruits --:

There is no shame in losing to superior talent, but flat-out quitting and having no capacity to learn from mistakes, and effectively gameplan after bye weeks -- this is inexcusable.

1) offensively, Purdue is patently unable to hold blocks long enough for a decent vertical passing game we all envisioned at the beginning , and on the rare occasions we actually have time to throw, the WRs have hands of stone ... therefore we've had to improvise to sometimes using a more mobile QB to run some kind of RPO-type thing that seems to gain yards most often through sheer luck, rather than design

2) the defense is a flat-out disaster-- no one has a clue (or the courage) as to how to seal the edge on the line, our LB and DB tackling is cowardly, the DL is slow and totally unable to generate pressure, and no one in our "Vaunted" secondary has the first clue as to when and how to look for the ball against opposing WRs. -- Theniman's regression to mediocrity (if not flat-out irrelevance) is jaw-dropping...

If this was a team of raw freshman and inexperienced portal guys, at least some of these issues MIGHT be excusable, but that clearly isn't the case -- CRW and staff have failed miserably at developing a scheme/culture, at teaching anything resembling proper technique, and most alarmingly -- they've shown ZERO ability to motivate this team to play for each other and demonstrate a sense of pride.

Can anyone explain to this outsider exactly what CRW is trying to teach?

Hell yeh I'm gonna spike the football!

Can you imagine someone bringing up J6 after that shellacking??
Tone deaf. 🤣🤣

For those who think this race was decided by “racist misogynists”

I think racism and misogyny was part of it, but not in the way the left thinks it was. I think there are people who were motivated to vote because they were tired of being called derogatory names for disagreeing with the left.

You attack people long enough, eventually they do get tired of it and start fighting back.
It is hard for me to believe that some were motivated by those two things, but there has to be a few towards the tail of the distribution as there are in everything! I understand being attacked, but really hope the vote was about a known figure and his previous accomplishments with the left throwing everything possible towards him to stunt his efforts versus a history lacking accomplishments and hopeful the voters believe in fairy dust!

Deportation Plans???

One thing I’m interested is what happens to the ACA? I got friends and family that voted for Trump on it and like it, does he try to improve it or just opt out of it without a plan like he wanted to before? My friends think he won’t mess with it, I’m not so sure about that.

Have no idea on that. He has a concept of a plan you know ...lol.

I don't think changing ACA polls as well as the deportation. Unless you ask specifically on health care costs which all think are too high.

Joe Rogan endorses Trump

Apparently BNI is going to go down with the ship. He's having a hard time reconciling the fact that blacks had a huge impact in Trump winning. I'll give him credit though, at least he's sticking to his guns, as wrong as they may be, he's going to hold on to them. I imagine the talking heads on urban radio, and their hundreds of listeners look like a deer in the headlights wondering what just happened.

That happens when one thinks Blacks are different than other racial groups which he does. Somehow they need courted differently he claimed.

Northern Kentucky at Purdue: MASTER DISCUSSION THREAD

Yeah, but it's also a line that probably doesn't get a ton of action, so it doesn't likely move. My book usually doesn't get a whole lot in the way of player props for these types of games. I wish we would.
You’re correct though, only sickies are analyzing TKR’s over/under first thing on a Friday morning lol. For me I like playing Purdue, IU, and teams I enjoy watching props, many times a late night Gonzaga game.

ND preview

Any discussion of ND starts with sensational sophomore point guard Hannah Hildago. A McD's AA coming out of HS and had a monster freshman year, contending with Juju Watkins for FOY nationally. Next to her is Olivia Miles, a potential WNBA lottery pick and multi year starter for ND at pg, now playing 2 guard but still has the handles and passing to play point. She missed all of last year injured, but seems to be playing at 100% now. Playing 2 potentially AAs pgs together will make ND VERY hard to press, especially if Amiyah and Poole are not available for this game. Good news is ND is dealing with a lot of injuries at the moment, but unlike ours most of theirs are to key pieces in their rotation. 3 forwards missed their first game, including AA Citron who likely won't play against us. Don't shed any tears for the Irish though. Along with their outstanding starting pgs, they have King, a first team all ACC player from Pitt that transferred to ND for her Covid year, and Prosper, who also missed last season injured and put up 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds their first game. Anchoring the Irish in the middle is 6'5" Ukranian freshman Kate Koval, the #5 recruit in this years class. While not as broad of shoulder as McCarthy, she is not a skinny girl either. She got 18 points on 11 shots with 7 rebounds in her first game and she will be a good gauge for how good our frosh centers are at this point in their careers. ND only played 7 girls first game out and the two guard bench players combined for 7 points, so any foul problems for ND could be significant. I would guessND by 30, but their lack of depth could make this a much closer game if they have to sit a starter for a long period for any reason.
If Purdue keeps it within 20 I’ll be surprised.
