Cryptocurrencies - Invest now?

It was fun reading through this thread back to 2017.....man, could have been buying BTC at $1000.....
I've gotten in and out of BTC a few times, not very successfully though mostly because I suck at timing the market. And no, I don't currently have a position in BTC right now so missed the run up to $100K.

But....but....I down own a butt load of XRP. Been buying that for about 5-6 years and it's enjoyed a nice run lately.
Will it take off like BTC? Nobody knows. But if it does, I'll be having some buildings at Purdue with my name on them and NIL will not be a problem....

Hell to pay

Oil from the Keystone XL Pipeline was destined for domestic refineries in Patoka Illinois, Cushing Oklahoma and Houston in addition to Port Arthur Texas for export. Don't believe everything that you read in the rabid left news media.

Dude, ain’t no refineries in Patoka, IL and Cushing, OK. Those 2 as well as Port Arthur and Houston are pipeline hubs not refineries. You even said the key word, “export”. Now of that Canadian oil was destined for any US refinery.

Purdue +2 tonight

Yeah, I don't get too excited about players in their 5th year of playing college ball. I'd say the same thing if Edey had decided to stay for his "covid year". Play your 4 years and move on. If Ace was that great, he'd be in the league by now. So your 23, 24 years old playing against guys years younger than you. So I guess that makes you a big deal??

I said the same thing about Dick at KU and anybody else that is playing their 5th year. We need to constantly point out the huge asterisk that needs to go by any stats that they put up. So glad this is the last year for that nonsense.
I thought this was the last year too and then I heard where a Womens VB player was coming back for her Covid year?

Purdue +2 tonight

"...supposedly."

Someone needs to remind 'ol Ace that if it wasn't for Covid he wouldn't even be in the league anymore. No matter. He'll probably have the game of his life tonight. Ya know, just because.

Why Trump Needs to Drain the Swamp

You guys wants parents to have control over what their children are taught in schools but not over their children's sexuality.
Actually it has everything to do with parents control of a child's sexuality.
Leave their born sex the fk alone. If at 18 they want to have a vasectomy or mastectomy, so be it.
Look a parent has tremendous influence over a child, in particular a pre teen.
Don't give me this BS that a 5 year old boy wants to be a girl. I'd say it's more likely their parents want them to be a girl.

Down goes #1 KU and #2 Auburn

The comparison was March 25 to March 26....so obviously Colvin and Heide, etc. going to improve until March, but that's not the time period we are talking.

Thus, improvement has to come from somewhere to get to FF level. There will have to be both a drastic improvement of both Burgess and DJ to come anywhere near the FF next year. So either they improve or another guy is added for a FF run. I prefer both.....as an insurance policy.

(Yes Harris, Cox or West will add ability- but starters in March will still be the ones in 25-26)
I’m not sure why you’re writing off not only this season but next before we’ve reached January. I don’t see any basis for concluding that we need to add players before we know how this season will shape up.

That's an interesting comment. Bob, if parents don't have control over their children's sexuality, who should? The teachers/LGBTQ groomers? Or just allow little kids who still believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny decide for themselves?

Hell to pay

Still not our oil. Comes from Canada.
There is actually a vast cobweb of US-Canada oil pipelines through which oil from both countries flows. This has been going on for about one and a half centuries. The first US oil pipeline was laid in the 1860s. It is childish to squeal about whether it is US oil or Canadian oil.

Why Trump Needs to Drain the Swamp

You think taxpayers should pay for ANY of them?

You think the government should be able to encourage someone’s child to get one behind their parents’ back ?
Sadly it looks like the Government no longer can sit on the side lines.
When 5 year olds are getting hormone injections and 12 year old girls are getting Mastectomy surgery, Its time the government stepped in.
And these aren't necessary surgeries so why should the tax payers pay the bill?
The Tennessee case isn't about taxpayer funded treatments or surgeries. I know MAGA has made a huge deal out of those and will continue to but this law tells parents what they can and can't do with their child with regard to transitioning. Has nothing to do with your precious tax dollars.

You guys wants parents to have control over what their children are taught in schools but not over their children's sexuality.

What about Chuck?

Chuck Martin, Miami (Ohio)

Miami (Ohio) coach Chuck Martin walks on the field during warmups prior to his team's game against Miami (Fla.) at Hard Rock Stadium.
Maybe the 64-66 record isn't impressive, but Martin has taken the Redhawks to five bowl games and has recruited Indiana well. Prior to making the jump to FBS, Martin succeeded Brian Kelly at Division II Grand Valley State, where he went 74-7 in six seasons and made three appearances in the NCAA Division II national championship game, winning twice. That earned him a job on Kelly's staff at Notre Dame, where he eventually became offensive coordinator before taking the Miami job in 2014.

If you can go 74 and 7 at GVS which is a bonified football powerhouse, and five bowl games at Miami of Ohio, along with knowing the recruits in the Midwest, he might be a solid choice. And he's' only making 600K at Miami.

Bo says he'll name the next coach in the next ten days.
Chuck Martin would be a great hire. He will rebuild the Boiler Program in the right manner! He gets it!! He will bring a no BS approach to Purdue! He had a major challenge at Miami and did a great job in rebuilding the program! In addition He completely knows the coaches in the Chicago, Indiana and Ohio areas.

Ok, now that it's done, who's hearing what about a hire?

You are a sane, smart, solid, on-topic poster BC - apologies for taking bait and contributing to the derailment. Good luck on the coaching search - still think you guys are far better off with a current 'lesser name' than a bigger name retread or a coordinator.
Looks like sucking up to BC didn't work very well. Lol out loud.
