Also, it does not matter much at this point and as long as Purdue gets a 3-6 seed in the midwest region, that’s all the really matters IMO

Because NET is just one of many metrics used. It isn’t the greatest because it values blow outs more than beating a team by 5-10. Also it’s VERY early in the season still and it will continue to change.

Damn only moved up 3 spots in NET. The NET is very unfavorable toward us this year and I dont get it with us having one of the hardest SOS so far to boot and having 2 neutral court wins as well

Assuming we have Marion coming, it would seem Browne is perfect in his system. Browne said he would come back depending on new coach. Sawyer committed and he’s a good fit too. Marcus Davila seems interested so if he stays and Odom brings his son we will be at 4 QBs, 5 if Meredith stays. I also expect Mockobee is kicking his chops and we have 2 good RB recruits and I hope marion brings one with (plus they have 2 of their own recruits). WR not as important. Our offense is not that far off, just need to go out and get some really good OL.

We DO know more......up to 26, just above Michigan State. Maryland dropped two spots to 13, and Illinois is at 12.

Other conference teams in top 25 are Oregon (15), Ohio State (21), and Michigan (23).

BUT that is what the system came up with and everyone knew that before the season started. I believe the committee was afraid of a conference with three great teams being seeded in the top four! Once they expand to 16 it will solve most of the issues!
