Let the 3s fly.......
supposed to eat alot of protein to help the healing so that should help him put on good weight.Back to Jacobsen, hoping that he can add some quality bulk during this recovery time. His break will limit what he can do in the weight room, but he should be able to add some upper body and core strength. He’ll never be built like Zach Edey, but If he can follow the JaJuan Johnson progression of strength gain and filling out his frame, it will serve him well.
I didn't say there were not racists in all political parties.Perhaps and then passed the torch to your party the repubs 60 years ago. To be specific.
The Dems did not have a monopoly on racism back then either. There were a lot racist republicans akso. Even Lincoln wanted to deport the slaves back to Africa or to the Carribean.
usually a pin/rod thru the break w/ small incisions, will be able to walk on it usually the next day 4 to 6 mos recovery timeSo, Jacobsen is reportedly going in for surgery today. Anybody know the repair method they plan to use? Maybe it is just me, but I hope it is minor enough that they plan to plate it versus putting a permanent steel rod in his leg. Whatever the case I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery. Can't wait to see him back on the floor doing great things in the future!
didn't like the way we handled the press vs Yale, throwing into the corner, careless inbounds pass, another careless pass that bounced off the back of a Yale player, BS dribbled into trouble the one time.To me...this year, past years and every year in the future starts with containing the dribble (not a problem personally for me yet ). THAT alone leads to rotations which lead to poor position to defend and rebound. Containing the dribble starts with individual effort (naturally athleticism is huge) and help defense...which overused or improperly used, leads to open looks for the opposition as well as again bad position. Containing the dribble is always a HUGE concern.
Now I don't recall if Alabama presses, traps or just belly ups in man, but the athletic part of a fast game should be an advantage for Cam and Myles as well as most the team. It may lessen the impact at the 5 somewhat in a full court game whereas dribble containment in the half is crucial as well. IMO it appears that Purdue trying to be a bit more disruptive on D has also led to some expected out of position defenders which will probably always have the rebounding down a bit on D, but the offensive rebounding diminished by some hot shooting can still be better as well as the 50-50 balls. You would think that Purdue moving a bit more on O would shift the D enough to diminish the natural D position they hold and increase the offensive boards, but we have seen the long boards and 50-50 balls go to the opposition more than desired. Still, a lot of new players that are also very young and inexperienced in play
Sears scored 35 against us last year in Toronto, including 8 threes. He scored 24 in the National semifinal against UCONN. Pretty hard to stop.A freshman guarding Sears is a bad decision...
Cox or Harris will be exploited big time...

Our somewhat slow paced offense will get a wake up call when the boys from Bama come to town , we are going to have to play so
What do you mean by slow? Not sure an athletic Alabama team is a good matchup for Berg, he’s slow.
DEI is going to fade into existence once your daddy is in the White House.Dude, if it wasn’t for racism there wouldn’t need to have affirmative action or now, DEI. Like the old saying, “the chickens have come home to roost”. White folks caused this racism mess in America. And now y’all butt hurt about some DEI.
Perhaps and then passed the torch to your party the repubs 60 years ago. To be specific. To be specific, dems caused the racism mess in the US. Your party.
TKR guarding Nelson will also be huge. Can’t have TKR in foul trouble and we know Alabama is going to go right at him.I think Alabama is going to really put pressure on Braden tonight , so it's going to be imperative to have a second ball handler , it will be a good test for our freshman guards. Also going to be a big night for 3's, to have shot at winning this. IMO.
going back a bit farther back than the dems in the south a few decades ago-To be specific, dems caused the racism mess in the US. Your party.
Painter is doing very well obviously. And giving his assistants more responsibility is a big piece.Thought I’d share this….i think it’s a lot of what we know but for some, it’s good insight into how he thinks on things:

Smith is unlikely to defend Sears much. I think Cox and/or Harris spend more time guarding him.Game will be won in the backcourt...and how well Smith defends Sears. Purdue by 3...
I like our chances in Mackey...

I am more interested in how the team functions, particularly in terms of team D and rim protection, rebounding, containment of the dribble, and limiting turnovers.
