Prognosticators?Good showing for the B1G yesterday as Purdue takes down #2 Alabama and Wisconsin puts up over 100 against #9 Arizona.
Should be another fun season in conference as it appears to be a wide open year in the league.
Seems the procrastinators knew a little something when they picked Purdue to win the league. It should be interesting to see who is right there with us.
Does it matter? Jan 6 was TDS in its highest form. It that wasn’t cult behavior then I don’t know what. I don’t care if it happened 200 years ago.Got anything current or Just January 6th 2021 stuff? There’s plenty of current crap on the Democrats.
But we have to go to Birmingham this year and play Auburn with their 5th year Covid seniors 😂That is a tough draw. Purdue was lucky to get them in Mackey this year and the travel to Alabama next year when all their Covid Srs years are gone.
The good think about Marquette is they appear softer than us inside. And after last night we didn't look as soft.Queen is the real deal and Gillespie is a very good guard.
Marquette will also be tough on Tuesday. Cam Jones is a helluva guard and there are also other good players around him. What a way for this team to be tested in their first road game of the season 😂
That is a tough draw. Purdue was lucky to get them in Mackey this year and the travel to Alabama next year when all their Covid Srs years are gone.We also play them in Birmingham (with our return game at the United Center next year), so it’ll pretty much be their home game to rebound … not expecting a win, lol.
Queen is the real deal and Gillespie is a very good guard.I almost forgot but Maryland looked pretty good too in a close loss to #15 Marquette.
Should be a good game Tuesday.
Well said.Yes. Heide rebounding well made it work. I hope he keeps that up. This team is better with him out there, and the 4 is his path to minutes.
As much as Cox offense gets attention, his defense against Sears to close the game was maybe just as impressive for a true Freshman? He didn't back down at all from the moment.
On that note it will be fun to see how Harris/Cox/Colvin improve defensively. It's early and they already seem ahead of the curve a bit.
Love, love, love Colvin not getting any shots but still impacting the game and bringing energy on D.
I'm rambling, but also noticesd Harris being fired up and one of first to congratulate Cox after his offensive outburst. These guys are all about winning and not sulking about who is getting minutes.
Smith agreesI hope people now can see (the doubters) that Purdue is still really, really good! Some are just so impatient! That was a senior led team too for the most part. BE PROUD OF WHERE OUR GUYS ARE!
We also play them in Birmingham (with our return game at the United Center next year), so it’ll pretty much be their home game to rebound … not expecting a win, lol.Nice win for Wisconsin. It's nice to see one of the teams not shelling out NIL left and right having some success early.
Illinois plays Alabama next week. I'm glad we were able to play them first. Wouldn't want to see a team with as much talent as 'Bama coming off an L. Good luck Illini😂
Yes, Furst was great. His experience showed and would love to see him carve out a nice role this year.I like Heidi at the 4 as well. His leaping ability/athleticism allows him to play bigger than his size. I noticed the 8 rebounds as well on the stat sheet. He was tied with Kaufman-Renn for team high. He needs to be on the floor…now that Jacobsen is out for the season.
I thought Furst played well last night as well.
It certainly was a senior laden team. I am glad it will be the last time, unless in March, that we see the former Rutgers player #11.I hope people now can see (the doubters) that Purdue is still really, really good! Some are just so impatient! That was a senior led team too for the most part. BE PROUD OF WHERE OUR GUYS ARE!
Got anything current or Just January 6th 2021 stuff? There’s plenty of current crap on the Democrats.Nope. This is TDS. 2,000 Flavor Aiders willing to go to prison for the sake of one cult leader.

relative to that...last night I started to respond to @*4purdue* on a post relative to Burgess and never found it quick enough before catching a few minutes of the game. When the 1974 team was recognized months ago, a guard on that team (drawing a blank...maybe Shields?) living in Cincy asked Burgess why he chose Purdue. Burgess said he knew he would spend a lot of time with the players on the team and would have friends for life and knew this was a good group of guys that would make good friends for life. Culture a chosen desire!!!!Yes. Cox, Harris, and Colvin all have really bright futures and all seem to be great teammates as well as talented players.
That offense with much credit given to PJ AND Matt, is blessed to have Braden doing what he does. Remove Braden and the offense against a good team is not nearly as good. We are witnessing a player at the 1 unlike any in my memory of Purdue basketball and Purdue has had some good ones. Braden is special and LIVED in the gym last summer. I think we can say the same about Fletcher as well.Super impressed. We lose Edey and Kenpom has us #3 in offense. We have been scoring in droves against good teams. It seems like PJ is expected to takeover some day but I hope he doesn’t leave and come back like paint did and we can throw him enough money to stay the whole time.
