You do realize that white applicants who got answers to cheat on exams also screwed better qualified white applicants? There are only many jobs at the firehouse so if somebody’s cousin who was unqualified got the job they bumped out ALL qualified applicants regardless of race. You see everything through the prism of race. I see fairness. You want those jobs that went to white dudes inappropriately to go to black applicants only. I want it to go to the BEST applicant.
and an FYI lots of fire departments are understaffed because of DEI quotas so no doubt minority neighborhoods are at risk because the Marxist overlords bow to the religion of identity politics.
That's my point in all of this. As long as the legacy cheating white applicants were white, white folks didn't seem to care. Just as long as white folks or white city contractors were getting the jobs. Similarly with white legacy college admissions. I never heard of any white college applicants who did not get in, complain about the legacy admissions. But through affirmative action or DEI, let a few blacks, who are qualified in, and all hell breaks out.
What I am getting tired of is when something bad goes on in America, it's the fault of DEI when white folks have been jackin' up stuff for centuries and nothin is said. Fires in LA DEI.
