TKR having a little trouble.....break there....looked clean.
I want a virtual shot.My 1920 finally arrived. Will happily kick back with a bourbon and boilerball on this cold windy shitshow of a Thursday. Psycho beard will bring us the victory!
Your words: " . . . this law tells parents what they can and can't do with their child with regard to transitioning."You have a comprehension problem?
Recruiting matters so little now that even signing day yesterday made little more sound than a thud at best here in SEC country.similar to that rising 3 star TE from Ill that verbal to us, then went to Bama and he's not even on their roster

Rickie Collins who committed to us 3-4 years ago and landed at LSU is back in the transfer portal as well. Seems unless you’re a big guy with $ attached to you, you might never even get a shot!
wonder if the waterboys and/or girls will stick aroundI actually liked our WRs. Yeh, they had the drops sometimes (and Edgerinn at a crucial time) but they seem to have the physical tools.
Need to upgrade the RB and get some guys on the OL who can run block and pass protect.
Whos going to police it? Does online classes count? It would be another loophole that would get abused. My point would be you'd just tie eligibility to attendance. You don't want someone just taking one class and getting six figures NIL because they are great at the college level but not quite good enough for the pros. However, if they are taking a more or less full load towards a degree then if it takes six years so what? Injury or no injury.

Actually Dienhart reported this on local radio yesterday. Then said no one will know who the next hire is until I announce it.Not me
WHen do we start talking about waiving and trading players. Universities are becoming sports franchises with a college attached.Get rid of all eligibility rules. It is now a job.
I’ll still say not all star ratings are the same for some players. Maybe the highly rated guys Purdue gets are not all that in the first place. They don’t get many so it really looks bad when they don’t pan out. Alabama gets a lot of four star players that don’t work out, but they get so many it’s not that noticeable. We do well with the true diamonds in the rough and seem to get nothing out of the 4 stars.

NIL money is no issue ? That’s not what I’ve heard…Bobo said, money is no issue......
AlaimoThink Allen is the only 4* we signed out of high school in 10-12 yrs. Davila may be a 4* but he was only a freshman this yr.
Who are the other 4* star QB’s we signed that flamed out?
One thing to consider is the players better bust their tails if they have any aspirations of going into the portal at year end. All this is on tape so it would greatly affect their desirability for an offer from another team. I just don’t think many of these guys were very good.Point taken. Rants are good.
I cant help but wonder if the lackadaisical play by some of the better athletes was due to their perception that the AD didnt care, why should they? Not an excuse but frustration does build.
In my own business life, we (the company) went with an obvious DEI hire who became a liability nightmare. My job was to run liability cover for a company that obviously did not care. The other members on the the team definitely took on the perception that if the company did not care, why should they? It became a cancer. It wasnt until the DEI employee was terminated (I took a lot of heat for an onsite explosion where I ran him off) that the performance/quality with the others picked up.
Is this the same situation? Why bust our asses if the AD wont correct the problem? I wonder if the individual athletic performance would have improved had something come from the top mid season?
(For those about to get triggered, don't. I did not say Walters was DEI, as was the case I dealt with. )
