Seems too good to pass up on. I’m expecting a double digit victory today!
I liked Browne and it’s a shame the past coaches ruined his Purdue career. He’s got a bright future if he can find the right system that fits his play. He brought a lot to the table and was definitely QB1 next year but obviously coaching changes and a disappointing season will change a kids mind plus I’m sure he got paid going to UNC.From the highlights I saw of Singleton, it seems he is poised to be QB1. Definitely seems Odom prefers a mobile QB at least for now. Makes sense with our line. Kind of makes me wonder why Browne didn't stick around.
And they would have been an 8 and immediately played Oregon no matter what. And people would still be complaining.Ohio St would have been in an 8 team playoff. You could argue they would have been in the 4 team playoff as well as this was a weird year.
3 portal guysThat’s 4 portal QBs thus far, right? I wonder if the initial QB transfer(s) knew we’d be taking on several more. I doubt these guys are signing up to be third or fourth string.
he sounds like he would be a great add for PurdueCan we get him on the team now? LOL
Size and can score. Be fortunate if he does come here to lead team after Smith & Loyer departs.
he did against Hobart

Don’t let BCFan get a whiff of the positivity.Well, we can see what chasing stars the last two years got us..... Better coaching, with middle of the road players that are productive would be a huge improvement.
Lunardi (not that he’s good), had us as a 6 in Midwest, which we d okay in Milwaukee first two round then Indy. Would have to get through UK in second round (well and win that first round)
Not sure if they picked up anyone since the Miami Florida player, Shondell did make it sound like next semester 1 more might be added. I agree, even with Chloe and Hudson Purdue wasn’t likely making a final 4, maybe a final 8. I think they knew it as well, that’s why they split, plus my guess is they’re making a little more money.Did we recently pick up another player? Saw a recent CDS comment that we will have 15 players on the roster for the 2nd semester, but the 2024-25 roster currently only shows 14 players: 8 returnees, 4 incoming portal transfers and 2 freshmen.
Myers was here for 5 years but we only got a little over 2 full seasons of play from her. She kept improving once she started playing regularly. Can’t fault her for leaving, but would have been nice to have her for what should be her best season as a 5th year senior. Will be interesting to see how the 2 incoming transfer MBs do for us versus how she does at Minnesota.
Losing Chicoine and Hudson was very disappointing but I don’t think we were ever going to make it past the regionals with them as our 2 left side hitters.
I can't imagine the horror you have witnessed. Reading your post took me to this last July when a young lady who really struggled dealing with what she saw in Iraq. She ran outside and took her life. I'll not post the details, but it was a tragedy on so many fronts. Many people deal with issues much larger than if someone doesn't like what someone said.
"She joined the United States Army Reserves and served as a photojournalist in Iraq with the 350th MPAD, which was attached to the 82nd Airborne, in 2003. Emily returned home a decorated Specialist who was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal With “M” Device. Following her honorable discharge from the military in 2009, she earned her associate’s degree from Ivy Tech."
I think I read that he put up 50 in a recent game. This kid is legit…put up 40 earlier this year.
Comes from a great bball family. Two sisters on purudes team, parents coach the girls team at south bend Washington. Apparently, his sister who is currently in HS (going to Purdue next year) just put up a quintuple double:
14 points, 18 rebounds, 12 assists, 11 steals and 10 blocks.
And she didn’t play much second half.
I like what I see so far. Thought Odom would be calling on us to pass out flyers at all MAC schools asking people to come join the team but getting some nice pickups. Not easy at all.
Not getting top guys but getting guys who have played and can absolutely contribute for us.
No disrespect, but that doesn’t make any sense to me. Those guys have the green light to fire any time they have an open look. Not sure how that causes hesitation.I think them knowing paint focuses on getting one of the big 3 shots and not them has got to be constantly in their minds causing hesitation in their shots and not just catching and shooting in rhythm. I think it affects their shots. When Myles was just catching and freely putting up a shot he looked smoother…
They were Battle Ground kids. Played in Burnetts and Moots Creeks til the oldest could drive, then they added the Tippy and Wabash. I spent many days with them fishing at Oakdale or wading from High Bank to Hog Point. Three of them bought old river shacks and renovated and upgraded. One bought a real shack and used a barn kit modified to a house.4 brothers live ON Tecumseh Bend???? Damn... resilient family!!!
75 or 6 seed in March then?
This kid is legit…put up 40 earlier this year. Thanks for the update.
I know we are only 1 game out.....but after watching Purdue get manhandled on the road three times and then get beat vs TX A & M at basically a home game....I have decided that we have no shot at the B10 championship. Team just isn't good enough at this time, and others like you say have the jump on us. Just hope we can improve, finish strong and make the NCAAT.

Many people deal with issues much larger than if someone doesn't like what someone said.Only you would make a thread about losing people (most to death) about you. You're hands down the biggest POS on this forum and that includes all the Indinia fans that come here.
I've been through two wars and have seen people burning to death and in immense pain from being shot and they cried and complained less than you do. You're a self-entitled, lying crybaby of epic proportions.
He’s a spectacularly wealthy guy all of a sudden.Turned out pretty good for him. Got to be a head coach for a couple years, got $9M as a going away present and basically back to the same job he had. Except it's probably nicer to live at UW than U of I.
