POS President Chump blames DEI for plane crash

I really and truly am all for him bloviating and bluffing to get people to do what he wants. It clearly works for him with you - you voted for him.

But to say with a straight face that he 'got what he wanted' from Canada and Mexico when all they had to do was re-state their already in-place initiatives from the Biden era (no, I'm not saying because of Biden) were happening is flat-out silly, and shows that you believe his victory proclamations against all objective evidence.
Keep telling yourself that.

POS President Chump blames DEI for plane crash

So Trump using leverage to get people to do what they want is him talking out of his ass? If people didn't think he'd do it, then why are thy caving?
I really and truly am all for him bloviating and bluffing to get people to do what he wants for the betterment of the USA. The bloviating and bluffing clearly works on you - you voted for him. It clearly worked with the J6 insurrectionists - he reinforced and restated this 'deep-state' bullshit for five years and got them to storm the freaking Capitol.

But to say with a straight face that he 'got what he wanted' from Canada and Mexico when all they had to do was re-state their already in-place initiatives from the Biden era (no, I'm not saying because of Biden) is flat-out silly, and shows that you believe his victory proclamations against all objective evidence.

Who's going to be the new IU coach

Beard. Dude wants the job.

Priority list...

1. Stevens
2. Beard

It won't make it past that. Beard would walk his butt from Oxford to Bloomington. And I think he could absolutely win. He was good at Arkansas Little Rock, Texas Tech, had Texas Top 10 and has been good at Ole Miss.

If somehow it made it past 2 and Beard didn't accept...

3. May
4. Ben McCollum
Well two on that list are certain nos. Stevens and May. Stevens no reason he’d consider it and May ain’t leaving Michigan after one year to coach at IU, it’s a thankless job!

How Long Until Sisley De-Commits?

I’m not so sure. With his past, it may give them reason to not hire him.
Ugh, they have a building named after Kinsey and hired Sampson when they knew he was doing some illegal things. That said, unless they offered a lot more money than the going rate, Beard may not want to go to IU out of respect for Knight.

POS President Chump blames DEI for plane crash

Dude, not liking someone doesn't mean you don't believe they deserve freedom. You do understand that right? His views of blacks needs to be viewed from the lens of his time. I'm sure all of our views would be different if we lived back then.

Lincoln still believed they deserved to be free, and look where we are today.

I can 100% deny there was a switch because it's not true. The switch narrative is nothing but propaganda. As the south became less racist it became more Republican. That's just a fact. Groups like the KKK that are hate groups have extremely small memberships. They are on their dying breath. With that said, if neither party are espousing your values of hate anymore, where are you going to land? You're going to land with whatever party lines up with your economic values. The Republican party does not and will not embrace the hatred those groups represent. The Democratic party knows this but they use those groups support as propaganda to make people like you believe that racism is alive and well in the party that fought to end it. WAKE UP! The Democrats are not your friends and never will be. The Republican party wishes hate groups will die and go away. They have no control over who gives them support.

BTW, Richard Spencer supported Kamala and David Duke supported Jill Stein in this last election (Spancer endorsed Biden in the one before this). So, where is your hand wringing over these KKK leaders supporting Democrats? Oh right, the propaganda machine hasn't told you to.

Wrong. Any time they have voted against any kind of "civil rights" bill, it had to do with either 1. the bill had pork on it they just could not back or 2. the bill would have violated the Constitution in some way. That doesn't mean they didn't believe in what the bill stood for, but we don't live in a vacuum. You cannot say people are against something when you don't know the context behind their vote against it.

I've read you rail on and on about Goldwater and how you call him a racist for how he voted on a civil rights bill, but if you took the time to look, you would see that Goldwater wanted the outcomes of that civil rights bill, however he feared that other people's Constitutional rights would have been violated based on how the bill was worded. I've pointed this out to you with links and everything, but you never read what I link for you. In fact, Goldwater voted FOR many of the other civil rights bills, but this is how Democrats use propaganda. They see an R vote against something and use that to slander the R's without the context behind it.

Correct, but only because Republicans have noticed that AA had a net negative effect. The R's believe in equality and AA did not align with that belief. Has nothing to do with racism as you're told to believe.

Getting rid of DEI is not a racist thing you dipshit. DEI means "didn't earn it." Do you think black people are unable to earn anything? Do you think that they must be handed things? Again, this is propaganda thinking that has you in a tizzy over this. The R party believes in merit. If you earn it, you deserve it and nobody can take that away from you. Talking with my black friends, they grew up in R districts and they all have amazing jobs and are very sucessful. Why is it that only blacks in D territories need DEI to succeed?

You need to look at the Democrats and their policies to understand why DEI was ever needed in the first place.

What in your mind made Goetz not qualified for the job? Sure, Bondi is great for the position, but how do you know Goetz wouldn't have been just as good? I sense more propaganda comming on.
Seeing history from one side and with 20th century eyes can lead to a LOT of misunderstandings. Sadly, your efforts and mine are not absorbed...

Lawmakers in Mississippi are proposing a new bill that will reward bounty hunters for catching illegals!

Many democrats are all about protecting criminals. Hard to understand why people currently vote for what this party stands for.
I can't understand the "feeling" absent thought, that supports the dems of today. Although I disagree, I do understand how those that were against Trump don't admit their failings and admit that a lot of great things are going on today ...as well as the public learning about their money that has been wasted and ended up no doubt finding the way to those that protest the light being shone on the waste. Had it not been for Trump, we would have been wandering in the desert for at least another 40 years.

POS President Chump blames DEI for plane crash

He proposed moving out the 2,000,000 (not white) people currently there and turning it into a fancy beach resort.

The real takeaway? As usual he is full of shit and everyone, including the political players, knows it. If anyone took him seriously the cease fire would already be cancelled.

It's kind of like the tariff threats; the markets reacted some, but not too much because anyone with sense built into the equation that he was bluffing and speaking out of his ass like usual, and that Canada and Mexico would make some fake concession to do something they were already doing, allowing Trump to save face and speak of victory to his really stupid lemmings.
So Trump using leverage to get people to do what they want is him talking out of his ass? If people didn't think he'd do it, then why are thy caving?

How Long Until Sisley De-Commits?

I think he chose the school not Woodson
You never know which kid might decommit from any school, but I think it's safe to say that the strongest chance of Trent Sisley decommitting would have been if Mike Woodson had remained coach next year.

So now it's all that much more likely that Sisley will be at IU next year, happily playing for Coach Stevens! Or Coach Fife! Or Coach Pearl! Or Coach Spoelstra! Or Coach Dakich!!!! Who the f**k knows - we clearly suck bad at coaching hires.

USAID and Soros , go together like peanut butter and grape jelly or a hamburger and fries

Been tied together for some time in the tax dollar waste that the dems don’t want you to know.

Snip…snip ( https://www.dailysignal.com/2025/02...s-usaid-sharing-same-priorities-george-soros/ )

“FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, slammed the U.S. Agency for International Development after The Daily Signal highlighted its longstanding partnership with the leftist funding network established by Hungarian American billionaire George Soros.
“It is no surprise that the woke leftists running USAID had the same priorities as George Soros and his global NGO network,” Cruz told The Daily Signal in an exclusive statement Tuesday.

““Under the Biden administration, USAID was weaponized to fund leftwing projects and progressive operatives,” the senator noted. “They poured uncountable amounts of money into places like the Hamas-controlled Gaza, knowing it would benefit anti-American and anti-Israel genocidal terrorists—and hid much of it from Congress and the public.”
“At the very least, the United States needs a new structure for distributing aid that is responsive to oversight and accountability,” Cruz concluded.
USAID’s ‘Insane Priorities’
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt condemned the “insane priorities” that USAID has funded, mentioning “$1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces, $70,000 for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland, $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia, $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.”
“I don’t know about you, but as an American taxpayer, I don’t want my dollars going towards this crap,” Leavitt added.”

'Viper's nest': USAID accused of corruption, mismanagement long before Trump admin took aim

snip…snip…
“A review of USAID’s recent history shows that it repeatedly has been accused of financial mismanagement and corruption long before Donald Trump's second administration, Fox News Digital found. “

Mo money for dems that are tired of the swamp being seen by the public as the protests continue. Imagine a world where the light shines on wasteful spending of “your money” the dems speak to “their sheep” that this is good and a few sheeples buy it? We are in the Twilight Zone while the sheeples go back to the same source that has lied to the American Public for year directly and with their brother…mainstream media!

Nobody is denying the findings, but the dems think they have enough idiots in play to delay and thwart the massive waste while California and North Carolina people are hurting as they fight everywhere to support the waste and their pocketbooks!

One player in particular is really struggling

Not picking on them. Just stating some facts. Heide brings more than Colvin with his ability to rebound. Both were given opportunities to start and prove themselves and both lost that starting role. its like being a DH in baseball: you have to produce at some point.
How quickly we forget that Colvin won the Mississippi game for us with his ability to rebound. When asked to guard the other team's best perimeter player, he is often too far away from the hoop to attack the glass. Heide is usually guarding a 4 or rotating under the basket on D and should get more boards.

OT: Does O$U ever play Defense

Not sure of the rule, there, but Maryland did get a decent look all things considered. The other aspect of this - instinctually, it's difficult to react any other way in that scenario, but Reese didn't really have time to do anything else like kick it back out for a three - if Thornton just lets him score or doesn't knock the ball away, Maryland doesn't get off another 3-pt FG attempt.

Counting it with the banked three at the end - Thornton needed to play the lottery or hit the casino last night....
surprised there is no replay clip of the banked 3 in this thread

As noted above...apparently the leak doesn't have to be guessed, since it is known.

Border Chief Homan Says Raid on Tren de Aragua Gang Was Leaked, Vows Accountability

Homan said his team has identified the source of the leak.

Border czar Tom Homan promised on Feb. 6 to find those responsible for leaking the details of a raid targeting members of the Tren de Aragua (TDA) gang and hold them accountable.

“This isn’t a game,” Homan told reporters outside the White House. “When operations get leaked like that, it puts our officers at great risk.”

Leonard Hamilton to resign after the yr

Had some really good battles with Purdue in the Big Ten/ACC challenge.

Hamilton was ACC Coach of the Year three times ('09, '12, and '20) and winningest coach in program history.

They had a great run as a #9-seed in 2018 NCAA Tournament losing a tight one to Michigan in the West Regional Final.

Good coach, good guy, well-respected - his teams were usually athletic, tough, and physical and always battled for 40 minutes. I liked him.
Good points. I believe FSU's 97-57 win over Purdue in the 2005 ACC challenge is still Painter's largest margin of defeat. That was a rough year without Carl Landry and David Teague.
