What went wrong for Purdue against an onslaught of Ohio State shooting?

For Purdue, what changed?
It was a meltdown of epic proportions. A hard, cold face-plant. That’s what their faces said, anyway.
I read what you posted. I must be missing what you have an issue with. What is it?Seriously? You guys float through life accepting everything trump does is fine without question?
Read the 14th amendment to the CONSTITUTION. You know, that document you guys bring up all the time but apparently are unaware of what it says.
I was an active duty US Army officer for 28 years. Here is the Oath of Office taken by all military members:"Preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America."
Unless it's something to do with immigration of course.
This is something I said from the get-go. The revenue sport athletes get taken care of on the road with advisors and tutors and such. And the money is there. But like you said, this is horrendous for the non-revenue sports. An absolute joke. Our teams don’t even have the worst situation. How much sense does it make to send Maryland’s tennis team (random example of a non-revenue generating sport) on 6-hour flights to Washington? If being a student-athlete was inconvenient before, the huge geographical gap of our current conference must be detrimental to classroom continuity.
Or if they are going to do it, spread it out a week.. We have a week break between UM and Indinia (I think) .. that would be a good rotation for going out west. Both on fridays no less.
That's a bit of a flawed way to look at it. Yes, he averaged 34 minutes last year and is averaging 35.8 minutes this year. But prior to the foul trouble last night, he had averaged 38 minutes over his previous 10 games with 6 of those 10 being 39 minutes or more. That's a lot to ask a 21 year old, especially when you throw in the trips to both coasts in the last couple of weeks.Only 1.7 more per game on avg so far. But hope he gets his legs ready for Michigan. (I expect he will)
haha bob our Constitutional expert! Pure comedy."Preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America."
Unless it's something to do with immigration of course.

That goes for the whole team. Braden could have bailed this team out against OSU had he been able to hit some shots but giving up 45 points in the second half wasn't on him (any more than it was on any other Purdue player).Only 1.7 more per game on avg so far. But hope he gets his legs ready for Michigan. (I expect he will)
Only 1.7 more per game on avg so far. But hope he gets his legs ready for Michigan. (I expect he will)Someone else mentioned how many minutes Braden has played this year and expressed concern. I mentioned that Matt doesn't see it as an issue, but Braden looked like it caught up with him last night. Maybe that was just an off game for Braden that didn't relate to fatigue from playing a ton of minutes and coming off of the West Coast road trip, but I'd be surprised if that were the case.
Very good points on them hitting 4 or 5 shot clock buzzer beaters. Like you said, one of those nights and gotta move on and get ready for the twin towers that has one who is a point center. They had lapses , but the D wasn’t that bad. They allowed a streak shooter to “get his head up” and then he was just stepping back and firing away. Surprised after the first four threes Purdue didn’t double him, at least a soft double. They also forced OSU to use the full shot clock 4 times and they hit four buzzer beating threes. One of those nights. Started in the first half when a well guarded awkward shot for two banked in.
what rights does someone have who breaks our laws? Illegals shouldn't be afforded rights since they came here illegally."Preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America."
Unless it's something to do with immigration of course.

Absolutely. We can't continue with Colvin and Heide taking whole games off. We're getting nothing from the bench. It was Harris or bust tonight.
They hit some unbelievable/killer shots in the 2nd half.also, hit 11 3 pointers. our 3 point defense was awful
You're really focused on the D
Yeah don’t understand why the quick turnaround for the west coast games but now there’s a week gap between Michigan and IU? IU has a lot of days off between the game before they come to Mackey.Or if they are going to do it, spread it out a week.. We have a week break between UM and Indinia (I think) .. that would be a good rotation for going out west. Both on fridays no less.
I mean that is the blueprint to beat pretty much every team.
Easier said than done 😂Smith has to hit the rim on the intentional miss to at least give them a chance to get the rebound.
I couldn't agree more. It looked to me like when they arrived in Washington that they were already tired. How many shots hit the front of the rim there? Oregon was better but after those 2 tough games we returned even more worn out. Playing anybody on a regular basis on the west coast is a bad idea.I fear that they are exhausted from the west coast trip and only having 2 days in between these games is gonna make it worse. It’s time for the big 3 to step up and push the rest of the team to produce. It’s also time for Smith to get everyone involved on offense.
