WTF

It is interesting how they got him. I think his 1st choice was Syracuse but they are having so many sanctions I don't think he could sign there.

He gets 5-stars every year. He may have had more than any other B1G team this year. Then coaching takes over.

Everyone knew their lack of an inside game killed them this year. Assuming they keep their backcourt, adding a couple of good or great freshman frontline guys could make them a lot better. True they still have Tan Tommy, but they certainly have talent as well.

Tan Tommy always has talent! Never can use it though..... He's a 5 depending on where you look some have him a 4. Nonetheless if everybody stays they should be a very good team next year

I totally agree with you that IU will be formidable in 2015-16 . . . They have some very talented kids. Of course, so do the the Boilers and this makes for a great season of a rivalry that involves two teams which can be/should be ranked and fighting it out in the B1G. It has been awhile since Purdue & IU are back on a national stage . . .

If AJ comes back, Haas takes a big step forward, Stevens finds his shot, Dakota gets the confidence, Ray keeps improving and we can get any consistent guard play at the point . . . Should be fun.

Go Boilers and POTFH,

Perea was a 5-star front-line guy who they were telling us was 1-and-done. Even before his injury, he wasn't playing up to his accolades.

So they have a 4 or 5 star freshman who has no back up and they are going to be great next year? I'm not worried about them. They will be better in November than March anyway

Re: WTF The good news is....

he can recruit. Otherwise, they might go out and hire a real coach in Bloomingburg. He is the best thing going for Purdue b-ball

Re: He just got booed at the FF

Could have been Ky, Wisconsin or MSU fans but more likely Indiana fans; he's about as popular as MIke Pence.

Good point, and I was more familiar with Perea. Even in HS, most of us knew he wasn't worth his ranking as it was all based on athleticism and "potential" which never has come. Is this kid different? If he is a legit day 1 difference maker down low, then IU just got a lot better. If he is another Perea, then it doesn't matter much at all.

No one will really know until he gets on the court in a game after clappy applies some of his coaching "prowess".

I think anyone could recruit at I.U. History and Banners helps more than anything. I hate hearing him land this kid. Actually, I'm tired of it and not seeing it here.
