Grew up next to Happy Hollow Park and had to get of out town so I headed west. Graduated in Tucson with my BS from U of A and now live in Colorado.

What am I to do? I know! Cheer on our Boilers! It won't be easy but they can get the job done. Claw up those Cats!

Any idea how the Arizona fans see this game/Purdue? Was the fan base expecting bigger things this year or are they right about where they thought they'd be?

We already gave Arizona one beatdown this year - why not another?

I went to the game in Tucson several years ago. Walking to the stadium beforehand got a lot of “welcomes” and good-natured ribbing about traveling so far to witness a beat down. Of course we won that game handily and the Arizona fans were far less cordial afterwards. Some were actually threatening. Was not a good experience.

‘ I think we better get indoors. The Sandpeople are easily startled but they will soon be back and in greater numbers.’

I was also there with a friend. Agree with all of the pregame comments. Arizona had some very cordial fans, welcomed us to their tailgates etc. Afterwards, they were mad but never threatened us. We had a wonderful time.
