While tied for first place in the conference they have played a lot of close games, and won a lot of close games. Wisconsin has always been efficient on offense, but since Gard took over their scoring is down (read less possessions). Below are the numbers by season:

16-17: 68.4 (12th) - Gard
15-16: 68.3 (10th) - Gard
14-15: 70.3 (2nd) - Bo
13-14: 71.8 (4th) - Bo

When Gard took over he returned to the swing office. After this season they lose: Hayes, Koenig, Showalter & Vitto Brown. I am sure Happ will have a decision to make at the end of the season.

Wisconsin has been one of the most consistent programs in the conference over the last 20 years. I will be curious to see if Gard can keep things going in Wiscy. Today is huge game for them.

Offense struggling again....trail Maryland 33-27 at the half. Trimble with a couple of threes to open the lead.

Also, I don't know what happened to Hayes jumper....almost as cold as the frozen tundra from outside the paint.

I don't see Happ sticking around without the supporting cast.
Happ isn't going anywhere. His game would not translate to the NBA until he can shoot from outside. I don't even think Haas will make it unless he develops a 15-20 foot jumper.

Wow...on cue....Wisconsin has started the second half on a 15-3 run.....lead 42-36 at the under 15:00 break. Koenig did not start but is seeing action.
