Purdue breaking 80 at home and sill not close.....Painter and the team have their work cut out for themselves - with trips to East Lansing and Bloomington coming up. Out of the frying pan and into the fire......heat really getting turned up after two straight disappointing defeats - for different reasons but nonetheless tough ones to take.

I had zero expectations with this team this year. I didn’t get too upset at the beginning of the year. Then they started to hit a stride and thought we were going to have some Carsen Edwards/Ryan Cline magic. But we’re in our typical Feb death spiral and this is unbearable to watch.

Colvin played some solid defense on Tonje in the later stages, but Purdue was already in too big of a hole. Credit Wisconsin, they outplayed Purdue and really brought the fight today.
