Braden is way to casual. Playing like he's asleep. Maybe find ways to catch and shoot? One of our only players who can score in droves...its like he doesn't know what the score is.
Not like it matters, our D is exposed today...just cannot handle an athletic team like Wisconsin. Total train wreck.

I hear you Doc - at least signs of life from Colvin and Heide, but the very top of the conference looks out of reach this year unless some magic happens in the next two minutes.
UCLA will be another tough one, as they have been playing well as of late.
We are depending to much on Smith. When he struggles this team struggles. We don't have complimentary players that have the "it" factor. Wisconsin players talking smack in our house should never happen. No fight in this team right now and that should never happen.

This makes O$U and Penn state that much worse. We are pairing great wins with equally horrid loses

The refs respect him on drives and throws that fade away stuff instead of creating the contact to get to the line

He definitely isn't in this game. I've said this before he tends to shy away against physical guards.
He has been lost on D as well. That's usually not like him until the game isn't going his way
I cannot remember a worse passer than Loyer. Just awful, mind-numbing passes/turnovers in his career.

Purdue's defense today just didn't get it done.....Wisconsin has a really good team and has been under the radar a lot.
Have to wonder if Braden playing 40 minutes every game is starting to catch up to him.
Whisky is doing all this without their starting guard— how depressing!
Anyone who blames the refs at all for this game doesn't understand basketball. Purdue defense was terrible but its also about the Jimmy and Joe's this game. Wisconsin has superior 2-way talent in the 2-4 positions and are much better on defense at the 5. Also to their credit, guys stepped up and hit big shots but Purdue didn't bring the fire to beat a hungry Wisconsin team.
They need to look at refining some of these.....that's not a flagrant to me, but it probably is under the current interpretation of the rules.
