That's what everyone is saying. Would play sec school I believe?
Missouri Kentucky or South Carolina according to CBS could be oppenent
I really, really doubt they would have us rematch mizzu
I hope Nashville, but I'm only an hour and half from Gotham City.I figured we wouldn't know till after the conference championship games. Committee don't like rematches so doubt the match us against mizz or Louisville. I too hope we land in Nashville. Hope it's not in the middle of the week though as it would be harder to travel.
Yeah that Western Michigan game was a wild one. We had great seats and it was a little farther than I drive to normal games at Purdue. I care more about the opponent and the final score than the location. We are playing in the "last four in" bowls. Who gives a shit about the bowl pedigree.I know it’s not a popular pick, but I would love Detroit again. Makes for an easy bowl game for me to attend.
What I understand is the bowls don’t pick the teams like they used to do. Now the conferences have more influence on where their teams go, after the playoffs and New Year’s Day bowls of course. So the Music City, Pinstripe etc will be more so determined by the BIG. That’s how I understand it from the Jerry Palm article. We’ll just have to wait and see...Nashville doesn't appear likely based on what I am reading since they have the top pick of the bottom 4 bowls. They would need to pick us over Iowa. Picking order is -
Music City
Pinstripe
Foster Farms - San Fran
Detroit - likely won't get a B10 team
What it will come down to is whether the B10 gets 3 teams into the New Years Six Bowl games. If we get 2 then that will push a team like Michigan State, Northwestern and Michigan down a notch.
The two options are Pinstripe and Foster Farms.
Who wants to go to Detroit in December?
Might come down to who travels better? We could leapfrog Iowa? We beat them and they only have 1 more win. Tied in Conference
