A lot of people seem upset. The Louisville fan base may have been vocal, but let’s not forget about the other options. Discuss...
A lot of Nebraska fans seemed upset that Brohm stayed but they are rational (if a little entitled.....they are not playing in the Big 8/12 anymore).

Salty- definitely UofL fans

IU fans are just confused. They can't agree on how to spin this. Half are saying we overpaid to keep him. The other half are saying another school with a bigger budget is going to come after him.

I assume WKU fans understand lifetime financial security and are over it.

Haven't heard much from UM fans in general since Saturday.

The timeouts called at the end of the Northwestern game by Fitz were classless. I think he knew that this was the last year for a long time he was going to get to come to Ross Ade and get a free win so he better enjoy it. There were a lot of coaches not pleased with the decision last night.

Louisville felt they deserved Brohm.

IU fans want us to hire Hazel 2.0 so they can have a chance at a winning season again.

WKU fans have been vocally butt hurt about his words of commitment and family. Plus the fact that he stayed when he left them (yes, some are still salty about that).

UM fans have been loud and obnoxious since the moment GK committed to Purdue. Insisting he was theirs like they deserved him and we didn’t. The audacity for him to pick Purdue. Plus the saltiness of Harbaugh and the game last year. I have a UM fan that married into the family through my cousin. He was a bit obnoxious about Purdue’s facilities and driving a man wth a broken neck in the van and giving them no air. Then he insisted Brohm was gone and GK was theirs. It felt really good to inform him how wrong he was.

UM is over football this year.
They could care less about the bowl game they will be in.
They are on to basketball and football for next year.

And they’re in the running for Zach Harrison, the #1 SDE in the nation and #5 overall recruit. I don’t think they’re losing much sleep over Brohm.

I was going with TwinDegrees2.
Nah, I hope I'm wrong and he does well, I just haven't seen enough in the body of two years work and three years of recruiting to think he's going to be all that and a rum and coke.

As to the OP question, I really don't think any of the other B10 coaches care at all that he's staying at PU and as for the IU fanbase, they have no clue about football.

You mean B10 COY Fitz?

It's that cards83 dude on the ul board

"I'm not close to Jeff Brohm directly but I do know several extended members of the Brohm family. I went to Trinity High School, the school all the Brohms went to, and was at Trinity the same time Brian Brohm was there. In fact I actually had several classes with Brian Brohm.I have also met Jeff Brohm on several occasions. So yes I do consider the Brohms to be like extended family."

Yes that's the one. Just because he won an award doesn't mean he cant act like a douche. Case and point, Izzo.
I know you are upset that Brohm stayed. Maybe Bobby will come back soon.
Get over the Knight thing....You can watch the hatchet job on him today and smile. As for Brohm, I really hope he proves me wrong because if he doesn't, there's going to be a lot bridge watches in West Laffy.

And if Michigan misses on Harrison and he goes to OSU, they would have lost Herron to Stanford, GK to Purdue, and Harrison to OSU. After losing to OSU, the salt would be so tasty. 0-5 against their rival and 1-14 in last 15 years. Now losing recruits to Stanford/Purdue and possibly taking a second L to OSU... would be almost as delightful as the Louisville melt down.

Dan opened his show with admitting it was wrong. He went with a source that gave him bad information. He owned it on the show, as he should have, and now he is over it.

Cool.

But, I really don't care what he says, one way or the other. He's getting you to listen, which is his point.

Still, would've been funny to include that in the list of responses.

Knight was a truly great coach who was also a bully, boor and an ass. I respect what he did but not how he did it.

Frankly I don't see why all these UL fans are so bitter, claiming Brohm used them for his personal gains. He has indicated that he liked to stay at Purdue for weeks now. They just didn't believe him. Now they blame him for leading them on? Ridiculous.

I think they will be ok with their top 10 recruiting class which consists of 9 top 300 players and a potential New Years Day bowl to get to 11 wins.

Yes, OSU dominates Michigan. No question about that. That series is approaching Michigan v. Purdue level domination.

Purdue is no longer the doormat of the Big. They got an AD, President, and coaching staff dedicated to winning. Purdue has more wins with Brohm than Harbaugh has in his time with way more talent. As the talent gap closes, I expect Purdue will become another team Jimmy doesn’t want to play.

This was supposed to be Michigan’s best team in a long time. Yet they got beat by a Notre Dame team that didn’t even have their best QB playing at that time and got completely stomped out and exposed by Ohio State.

You can’t tell me that seat isn’t getting warm for Jimmy. He has had no answer for the team he was brought in to beat. Iowa last year and Purdue this year found a way. Michigan absolutely should be afraid of Brohm and should absolutely be disappointed they didn’t land GK. Luckily they will see him up close and in person at least twice. Should be good times.

You bet it is.

Going back many years ago, Lee Corso (IU) called the Bucket game the "JS game" . . . the "job saver." Win it and you're good for another year, even if you've only one 2 or 3 games that year. Lose it, and you're in hot water.

Harbough’s upset we had that much $$$$ and still didn’t invest in air conditioning or in-stadium hospital and surgical unit.

In all the tears and bitching and moaning, not once did i see mention that Brohm was fired from L'Ville not even 10 years ago. Thrown under the bus at that. And now they wanted him back, he turned them down, and all of a sudden they are burned by it?

Sounds like they had their chance and pissed it away years ago. When a 2nd chance opened up, they didn't want to pay up.

None of them saying/doing these idiotic things would do different if they were in CJB's shoes. So i have to say, they are the saltiest.

WKU, sorry, not a Power 5 team. And not just WKU but any decent coach outside of a power 5 team. Expect them to leave once they become "hot." Nature of the beast.
Purdue to L'Ville was a lateral move. WKU to Purdue or L'Ville is a promotion.

IU. LOL

Changing my answer, it is definitely Iu. Their entire board is so triggered it is an unreadable mess. It started as constructive conversation about how to get dedication and momentum behind their program and now all threads have deteriorated into "BANNERS LOLZ!"

Did you really just say that? Purdue was 9-33 (3-24) under Hazell. 4 straight Bucket Game losses to IU.

Purdue is 13-12 (9-9 in BIG) under Brohm. 2 straight Bucket Game wins and 2 straight bowl games. Bowl game win over Arizona last year. Beat down Mizzou in Columbia 35-3. (IU hasn't won a bowl game since 1991!) Purdue likely going to the Music City Bowl in Nashville this year, probably playing Vanderbilt. Brohm beat #2 OSU 49-20, #16 Iowa, and #23 Boston College 30-13. Beat Iowa last year at Iowa too. #24 ranked recruiting class this year with 5 4* and maybe 2 more 4*s.

Glorified HS Coach is 10-14 (4-14 in BIG). IU plays a pud non-conference schedule every year. With Brohm, Purdue has played Missouri twice, Louisville with the Heisman trophy winner, Boston College. Next year, Purdue plays Vanderbilt and TCU.

Brohm owns IU and will continue to do so as long as he's at Purdue, which after this contract update could be awhile.
