I would have to say Issac Haas or P.J. Thompson. Haas for his inconsistent play but when he shows up and has heart he's unstoppable. P.J. for being 5 inches too short but also being a great leader, distributor, and clutch shot maker. So who would say are your Love-Hate players?

I really don't hate Purdue players that go out and do their best to win ballgames no matter what their abilities are. There have been a couple of players who acted like complete dbags on the court/field or off it over the years and I disliked them immensely.

It blows my mind that anyone would use the word "hate" to describe even part of their feelings towards PJ or Isaac. Those are two guys I really appreciate and if I ever got the chance to meet them I'd shake their hands and thank them for being Boilermakers.

Haas and/or Cline. Love em when they are on and wouldn't say hate em / "frustrated" is a better word, when they make bonehead plays...

Carsen. At least the freshman version. I hope that there will to be lots more to love for the sophomore version.

It is less of a hate, and more like disappointment because I know what they are capable of.

how can you hate any of them? I hate that numerous players got in trouble for drugs and/or disciplinary issues in the past. I hate that we couldnt get a (good) sports psychiatrist to help players make FTs more consistently. Its dissapointing when a young person makes a mistake or doesnt live up to their potential (which we in part assign them), but you dont hate someone for it. Remember that all these players are people too, with real lives and problems that extend well beyond the game being played. On the other hand, if anyone wants to tell someone (face-to-face) that they hate them for whatever reason, be my guest.

Haas and his butterfingers and putting the ball on the floor rather than keeping it high in the post
