if we lose, the narrative will be “no one expected them to beat Ohio State, but they still have momentum.” That will be the perception and perception is reality and recruiting reality.

Take a quick break... perceived reality matters. Have recruits left Buddahaw U in Lincoln en masse? No. Have they gotten new recruits as the losses have piled up? Also no. We avoided the perception of an overrated team. At least for now, the worried are gone.

Say we beat Ohio State though? Allow yourself to dream for a minute? What changes?

1) we are almost guaranteed a bowl. Even just beating IU and fluffy hype up in the twin cities gets us in.

2) we become a team that is seen as a favorite or even THE favorite in the Big West. Few teams in the NATION will be seen as having as much momentum as us.

3) we clean house on the remaining recruits we want. Nothing KFC U has done is going to be seen as being on the level of beating OSU on the national stage. We may even flip a guy or two. Graham might be in anyway... we may be wandales new favorite for more than five minutes

4) we get off to a great start with 2020 recruits. Especially with those in the building.

5) the Brohm is too good for Purdue talk will ramp up to ludicrous speed. So we better have a new raise ready that night lol.

Oh, this is so well written; I love it. If we win this game, I dare to say it will make an impact on the 2019, and 2020 recruits that are not in the building.

In fact, "Purdue is in a position where it's now tied for third in FBS with 17 plays of 40 yards or more this season." Winning this game could take us
to #1. Boiler UP!!

And I would add number 6 to this list. We are just about ready to really sell out this game. But I see we have a whole lot to sell for the Iowa, and Wisconsin games. I'm betting we sell a whole lot of those seats, if we beat OSU.

Wandale Robinson will be there on a Purdue Visit is a complete stud RB, ranked 3rd at his position and from KY. Just for us to be in the conversation with him is simply amazing and if we can somehow land him and David Bell at WR Brohm will have a complete monster of a team. There won’t be many teams in the country slowing us down, and that’s pretty damn exciting.

I’d disagree relative to where we are currently. Not amazing when we have four four stars signed, including karlaftis, who is higher rated on 247. I also think Bell is just a flat better prospect than Robinson, especially upstairs. Robinson is very talented and it is good as are in on the convo

Yes I love the set-up and you can bet Brohm will have a plan to have us in this game and maybe pull it off!

......OR, Purdue get's dumped (and, of course, perception is recruiting reality) and recruits decide they're better off going somewhere they can be on a team that has a legitimate chance of competing with elite programs, rather than be regulated to an "automatic win" for top 20 teams.

It’s a “Purdue fan” everyone.. a guy with 35 posts who posts from the perspective of a Purdue fan, but always rips Purdue to shreds.

I’ll take our chances this week. And if we lose no one will claim we are a doormat. How did you guys like getting routed by Iowa

Here's another one of your brilliant obvservations, "If we hire Brohm and IU signed Allen, IU got the better football coach....again.". Why do you even hang out here?

LOO - LOO - LOO - LOOSIER!

I have heard from about everyone of my good friends down here in Louisiana asking about Purdue football. I know for a fact LSU fans are all pulling for Purdue this weekend. For obvious reasons.

Do LSU and OSU have bad blood? Or is the urban at Florida thing.

From cleveland.com
