The obvious being a resounding W, which I'm calling at 55-7, but what I don't want to see is Horvath getting 30 carries for 225 yards and 4 TDs. I'm not sure that helps this team. UConn will be over matched but it'll be a good opportunity to get guys in game situations at game speed.
I'd like to see Brohm get Moore, Sheffield and Wright involved in the offense (unless he's holding some surprises for ND?).
Get some young guys reps on the OL, rotate the DL early and often (they were gassed in the 4th vs OSU)

I would also, and anybody else that was highly hyped when recruiting. Perhaps the ND game could affect playing time if any of these players or others could be big surprises against them.

Plummer 300, Bell 150 and Durham 50 by halftime. Play Burton and Alaimo in the 2nd. Give Horvath the ball all first half.

Basically make sure it’s 35-0+ going into halftime and let the backups take us home.

You need to give O’Connell some time just out of fairness, he could get a little rusty as well.

Sheffield, Moore, Cross.. Need to figure out a way to get more speed and big play ability on the field. Get one or more of these guys touches prior to ND game.

Give top 3 QBs each a quarter then let the most productive QB finish in the 4th. Agree with substituting OL and DL guys early and often. George K. should have a monster day and I'd like to see the D overall step up and score.

I'd like to see a great deal more passing than running and with that passing it should be for more than 10 yards.

Special Teams should remain special.

I’d like to see us play a very vanilla package on both sides of the ball and still dominate the game. That’s what we should be able to do against a team like UCONN.

Would be the 1st time in the CJB era
Not sure if you meant 1st time we blew someone out by halftime or first time we played reserves in that situation but we've had some blowouts.

We were up 34-7 against Ohio at halftime of his 2nd game. Was up 28-3 at halftime at Missouri the next week. 29-7 at halftime against Illinois in 2018. Ohio State wasn't a blowout at halftime but we did end up blowing them out in the 4th quarter and winning 49-20. Up 30-14 at halftime against Maryland in 2019.

Forgot about the Ohio game, but was mostly referencing the complete lack of gimme games the last few years.

Yeah we didn't have any last year. We've also generally played a more competitive nonconference schedule since CJB took over so no opportunities against D2 competition or things like that. Personally, I'll be pleasantly surprised if we cover the spread on Saturday. If you forced me to put money on one side I'd probably take UCONN, or most any D-1 team, with that many points against us. We aren't exactly Bama so that spread is mostly due to people thinking UCONN is just brutally bad and not any sort of respect for us.

I plan to be there. Who is with me?

I think it's up to 34 now, started at 32 or so. That seems a little high and I think it is based much more on how bad UCONN is than anything Purdue has done.

-Want a big win
-No reason to play stars in 2nd half
-Some reps for the following:
QB Aliamo
RB Cross
RB Downing
WR Sullivan
WR Moore
Any OL that made trip
DT Austin
DT Hudgins
Any LB that made trip
CB Romphf
S Kane
1st team till halftime, 2nd team thru majority of 2nd half and any 3rd teams that travelled mid-way thru 4th Qtr.
Hope to come out of this game healthy.

Wright played a bunch and was involved vs osu. I'm guessing the same will happen vs uconn

That this opponent doesn’t go rogue and pull out shanks and start stabbing Boilermakers. A win and not a trap game loss would be my 2nd choice.

I just want to see them come out and treat the huskies like an opponent who may be playing with their backs against the wall. If they can create some distance that way, then I’d like to see:

yanni karlaftis
Joe Anderson
Bryce austin
Khali Saunders
Jamari brown
More DJ Washington
More OC Brothers
Aidan Oconnell
More king doerue
More Garrett Miller
Mershawn rice
Tj sheffield

assuming everyone is traveling

A win is the only thing that matters. Having said that, what I want to see is King Doerue have a breakout game. I’m dying for him to start earning more carries so we have a go-to guy behind Horvath. Having a reliable change of pace could help the offense as well as keep Horvath fresher

Purdue can take 74 players,so I think all of those guys will be there.

I thought you were (correctly) referring to CJB's propensity to play the starters late into the games, even in the handful of games where we dominated. I remember thinking that it was just dumb to continue to heavily feed Rondale (WR, KR, PR) late in the 4th quarter of games already out of reach by our opponents; 1. It only increases the chance of the Star/Starter to get hurt (especially by overly frustrated defensive players who could take a cheap-shot), and 2) did nothing to develop backups or younger players.

I'm in agreement with everyone else that I'd like to see us come out early and rack up a nice lead, and then start inserting back-ups. I would like to see some back-up WR's getting passes from Plummer, but also important to get AOC (and other QBs?) playing time; as we all know we've not made it through a full CJB season without having our starting QB knocked out with an injury.

I want to see it live on tv/cable, but, I don't. The Big 10 network should show it tape delayed later in the week.

Not good

It's on CBSS, CBS Sports. You probably don't get that channel either. More wins = more coverage.
I noticed that CBS in Las Vegas last week had two college games on simultaneously on their 4 channels. I expected the normal CBS main channel to be used for a game, but they unexpectedly took another channel (MeTV) and had a game on it. I have no idea where their sports channel might be. So I'm hoping they might do the same this weekend, but I doubt it as perhaps that extra game was of special local interest.

And last weekend I had a bad experience with free radio, as most options immediately reverted to a premium offer with no way to reject it for a free program. I also try to follow the game thread here and also the game on Yahoo which has a description of the plays. Unfortunately, they have now altered that program for the worst. But it's interesting to see how none of those three sources agree with the timing of the game. Some plays were announced several minutes later, with no rhyme or reason which source might actually follow live play best as all had delays when comparing them.

Brohm hinted at playing 3 Qs and then getting more guys in in the 4th, after practice today.

CBS Sports Network. YouTube TV has it and I'm sure plenty of other providers.
I checked the Big Ten Network, & even up to 3/4 days after the game, no sign of it. They'll probably show it a few days later, but haven't decided exactly when? Don't know why they wouldn't? I think they end up showing all the previous conference games later/tape delayed throughout the week. This stuff shouldn't be a problem with the men's basketball team.

Yes, if you pay enough money for the premium package subscriptions (which I was just short of), then yes, I'm sure they will offer it. I'm with Dish Network, had to pay about $120/$122? per mo., just to get the Big Ten Network. I'm not paying a penny more, as most of the channels you get or have/are forced to pay for, are nothing but junk channels, which few if any watch. I'll listen on the radio (& hopefully, IU will duplicate last week's performance).
