Great to see, hear and read about the success stories about our football program once again. Talked to a couple of athletes and coaches in Chicago who are being recruited by JB and his staff ---its a huge difference in the direction and perception of the program. JB and his staff are prepared when visiting schools and athletes and we are making some inroads back into our city for the first time in 4 years.
The kids who camped there say the new staff is able to communicate their football knowledge to the kids in a way to challenge them and make the game exciting. The intensity of the staff has come across as genuine. They know how to evaluate talent but being able to develop it I believe is the difference between this staff and the previous one. Good luck coach, love your vision and success will be following behind soon.

Well, it's great that they're able to sell Purdue to recruits. What about Iowa, Minny, OSU, MSU, Michigan, and the rest of the B10....no one has sat still. The staff still needs to prove they know how to do it to compete with those teams mentioned above and the Rutger's, IU's, and Northwestern's of the world.

Well we have to start somewhere, building the recruiting bases in the Midwest is one of the things we needed to do and he is doing it. Don't really care what Michigan, OSu MSU or IOWA does. We will begin to make strides in the conference standings when we get better talent then we have now and then we can implement the offense and defense he wants to run. We are not going to start at the top of the conference in recruiting in the first year or most likely maybe never. But he will develop players and get them to play hard in the BIG 10. With his history of success in coaching at WK he will get this team turned around. But first needs the players and he is well on the road in making his vision become reality
