he was receiving too much negative press which was affecting both the team's play and their selling of future tickets. and the franchise QB was unhappy. he was becoming the hazell and fleck of the NFL. if his team was winning, like Fleck, they would put up with his antics. but since he was losing, he had to go. he took the last place team in football and basically didn't change it. every day a new story was being leaked out. Like at florida and OSU, it was Ok as long as he was winning. but he isn't winning now. i doubt his replacement will do any better.. But it was obvious a change had to be made.
