Trump’s constant bashing of Dr Fauci

everything trump does seems to be pointed at the economy rather than people. Why does he want schools open? it's not to educate children. he hates what teachers teach kids. his own son doesn't even go to school as that private school went virtual. he talks about bringing jobs back to America and allows his daughter to keep her sweat shop i China without any tariffs. And Milwaukee, how did that FoxCon deal go that was going to bring 13,000 jobs to the Milwaukee / Racine area. So far, you have no factory and 250 jobs, and fox com has decided to make their stuff in Aisa. yet you forked over a lot of concessions, didn't you? as for coal mining. We've really seen a lot of new jobs in the coal mining industry in the past 4 years haven't we? let's talk about peperoni. my family business was Stoppenbach which changed its name to Jefferson sausage. they made peperoni for DiJournos and Dominoes pizza. After being bought out the new corporation is shutting down that factory after 100 years in service and moving production to Arkansas. why ? because of profit. Thank you Hormel and Cargil. the truth remains that Hillary's private server was actually a lot more secure than any existing US government one. They still haven't hacked her private server. any emails they found were on other servers. and about Biden's son. Guiliani turned all the info he had on him to the new york post rather than the FBi. What does that say about Guilini wanting justice done? No actual charges have ever been filed against him. and Democrats are not in charge of the FBI. what does that tell you? Some of us can see through the lies. while many others refuse.

as for Fauci, as much as trump wants to fire him, he can't legally do so. Unlike his other cronies, Fauci is an actual federal government employee, not a political appointed one. As such, Trump cannot fire him without actual cause, ad if there is cause, there is a federal personnel termination process that is very long and complicated. Unless Fauci kills somebody, he can't be fired without first being disciplined. and for federal employees, it's very hard to come up with actions that can result in actual firing. if you do drugs or have a DUI, you still keep your job and go into rehab. Fauci is a very intelligent person. he's not going to do anything that would cost him his job. the only thing trump can do to fauci is to reassign him within his department. or create a new position above him to do his briefings for him. and with promoting Atlas, hasn't he already tried to do that? Much like a college football player on scholarship, trump can try to encourage fauci to resign or quit, but he can't just kick him off the team. that decision is fauci's.

let's just say i used to work for the swamp and still collect a paycheck from it.

I'm sorry milwaukee. perhaps you need to do some more research before you speak your mind. and try to use creditable sources rather than just one.
Wole - I can accept your Federal Govt responses and thank you for that. I'll stay out of the Pizza business, though I do like a few good store bought pizzas (Home Run Inn and Connie's) and franchises are not my gig as I support local Ma and Pa pizzerias.
Local ABC news indicates to pump your brakes on FoxConn. There is a large physical factory that is built and will be storage for now. Groundbreaking happened during Republican Scott Walker era and as soon as he lost to Democrat Tony Evers, they wanted to re-negotiate a new deal with FoxConn.
I work in the Semicon industry as a supplier, I know that it can be filled with machines building Semiconductor chips in a hurry if Government gets out of the way. It is simple as that.
I supply to the one of the world's largest manufacturer of OEM chip making machines for Intel & Samsung. The demand is still there today as it has been throughout 2019/2020 and continuing.
FoxConn is a waiting game at this moment and is sadly a pawn till it is critically needed. Republicans will help pack it up to something of the 10-13K in the future.

This morning Dr. Fauci’s “boss” was interviewed on NPR and he said “Dr. Fauci is the best infectious disease expert in the world” and that we are lucky to have him. He avoided and even said he does not want this issue to be political and that Dr Fauci should be listened to instead of people who know nothing about the science of infectious diseases. I do not understand why the people on this board cannot accept that Trump is not a scientist and certainly not an infectious disease specialist. It is disheartening that Purdue graduates do not understand this
Don't be disheartened, Beth, because what many Purdue grads understand from experience is they should be skeptical about government experts in all areas including medicine. Dr. Fauci means well, I am sure, but he has reversed himself about masks and said in late Feb there was no need for Americans to change their behavior at that time. Neither of those comments inspire confidence - or give me any reason to believe he is the "best infectious disease expert in the world".

There is much to be skeptical about, Beth, so be skeptical.

I like how you just skip right over the part about this being a new virus and how the science changes as the understanding of it changes.

Fauci showed his stripes today when he refused to condemn the "woman's march" this weekend but reiterated that you shouldn't have Thanksgiving dinner.

I am surprised you like it, especially since I was replying to Beth and she didn't mention it.

Oddly, though, that is essentially the point I was making to you just yesterday about how the pandemic has been a real challenge not just to the US, but to the socially advanced Euro countries. But, alas, it was and remains too much for you to comprehend, 'dude.'
