I’ve said it before and will say it again, Trump will get some Bernie voters. They don’t agree on much but do have similar trade positions and are against our involvement in Iraq and getting involved in “meaningless “ wars. I think Bernie’s and AOC’s polices would be very harmful to the US but respect their passion for what they believe. Biden on the other hand is pandering to the progressive wing and they see through this .

I can see that, but I also see Bernie's folks staying home. Which helps Trump.

Still voting blue no matter who until trump and his cronies are gone. Biden will steal many more moderate republicans than trumps Bernie votes.

Trump is in big trouble unless somehow this virus just disappears. Heck even utah could be close this year. Although no way it goes blue.

FYI Arizona is going blue!

This is the kicker. I wasn't going to vote for Trump in 2016, but couldn't stomach Hillary pretty much from the start. Mishandling classified information and then shrugging about it was the final straw. Biden doesn't turn me off the way Hillary did, so if you asked me today - yeah, I'd vote for Biden. Long way to go until November, and I won't rule out third party again. I won't be voting for Trump, period.

With Bernie himself endorsing Biden, yesterday, it's a little difficult visualizing any meaningful number of Sanders' supporters sitting this one out.
If they need a push in getting themselves to the polls by the time Nov. rolls around, I'm thinking that the encouragement from Bernie, Pres. Obama, M. Obama, Elizabeth Warren etc. will be significant.

Just staring at a photo of an Orange Face in front of the White House should do the trick, if all else fails.

Yep, all those socialist and communists forcing ol' Slow further to the left is going to help. Really? LMAO.

Bernie's boys and girls can't relate much to Biden. Honestly, Biden may be the worst candidate the Dems could put out there.
Doesn't matter. Last time, they all stayed home because they figured Hillary would win and that was that. This time, they know Trump can win, and they're not going to to want to let that happen. I know nothing, but my guess is that the coalition that elected Trump in the first place will come out if their jobs are intact. If not, it could get ugly fast as the Dem base will be more united this time around.

Is Slow Joe even capable of pandering to anyone at this point? Doesn’t that require putting multiple sentences together without slurring his words and/or losing his train of thought?

Yes but many other people didn't bother to vote for Trump because it was a foregone conclusion that Hillary would win, I grudgingly voted for trump. I see much more enthusiasm to vote for Trump this time around. Bernie would of been better, but I see it.

Especially if the CV19 crisis gets resolved quicker with fewer deaths than originally thought and the economy quickly rebounds.

The fundraising numbers that came out yesterday would support what you're seeing.

AOC is an outlier. No one takes her seriously but for Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, etc. Dems don't care about her at all because they know she is fringe player.

Some said the same thing about Bernie up until about 4 years ago...

Wishful thinking, IMO. Again, even if you held your nose to vote for Trump, you're still already a Trump voter and unlikely to change now. Trump will need to survive an increased democratic voter pool this time, IMO. Doesn't mean he can't. Hell, he won in spite of losing the popular vote by quite a bit last time.

Actually he did pretty good in his debate with Bernie
Biden is getting a real gift right now thanks to the virus. He is fairly low key, staying at home, not having to go out in the spotlight where he has a penchant for making mistakes. Trump is under every MSM report being presented in the worst possible light and not doing much to help himself out with his daily briefings. That said, it looks like the campaign will be in full bore by June so there is plenty of time for Biden to show who he really is and create a lot of uncertainty about his viability.

Wait till the debates and than Trump will be your guy unless you speak Biden!

The right is convinced AOC, Omar, etc are somehow leaders of the party. They are fringe players and like Sanders are out of touch with a majority of the Democratic party
Because that’s what Limbaugh and Hannity told their followers. Like you said, those folks are on the fringe with no real power.

Then why doesn’t Nancy and Joe outright reject their policies? Granted they aren’t in control but IMO they have forced the party further left

Do the Republicans do that with its fringe?

Yes out of touch with majority of party, but 30-40% is not an insignificant % that align themselves with Bernie/Warren wing of party.

25% of country loves Trump
40% of country hates Trump with a passion

Biden isn’t a great politician, but he is 20 times more trustworthy than Trump. Hillary wasn’t.
