This is the TKR I said would be 2nd team All B10. Footwork back. Midrange back. Patient and worked to get his.

Now be consistent and not just 2nd team All B10....but folks that was flat out an All American we saw tonight

Big time

That was definitely channeling Vinnie Johnson with that stretch.....instant triples, and he's calling for the play.....love it, and he has got some moxy for a freshman.

Yes that dude is a gamer. He just comes in hot and gets hotter. Love him off the bench.....a great team needs a guy like that. Painter, he just finds guys that get it done

just want to say he's made a believer out of me, I wasn't as high on him as others on this board about his O, keep it up Trey

Quite frankly I have been disappointed in his play this young season.

Not because he didn't play ok, he did, but because I KNEW he had tonight's ability in him. And tonight, on the big stage -- finally. We have seen flashes of it, last year.....now is his time.

Rewatch Purdue's 1st bucket of the game, TKR, enough said.
Dude is so athletic and skilled for a post-up player.

Shows he put the work in during the off season. He had to sit behind Edey for a while, so a lot of people forget that he was a top 50 recruit coming out of high school.
Yes. North Carolina wanted him for a reason. Glad Micah Shrewsberry
helped Purdue land this kid. I want more TKR type players in the future.
And more Robbie Hummel and JaJaun Johnson's, too, haha!

You could see this ability in the scrimmage last year without Zach there. He’s strong as an ox , and very high bball IQ and he’s got a great touch around the basket

He got rejected soundly multiple times last night. Some weak attempts. Especially for scoring 26!
What was impressive was that he rebounded from those poor attempts.
Not that he necessarily played like an all american. (though the stat line looks good)
He was pretty badly intimidated by the Syracuse kid. Was not thrilled that all he kept trying was old reliable (right handed hook over left shoulder) but when those were getting blocked he had no choice but to keep moving his feet and that made his game MUCH better. And those moves killed against the other guys.
Mr. Block made him adapt, and he was better for it. :)
