I can see Braden going off tonight against the drop coverage he will probably see. Much like Creighton, he will be looking to score. I can see him getting a lot of assists as well as the team continues to gel.

I’m looking to see focus on turnovers and defensive communication tonight.

The freshmen are all smart so I look forward to seeing how much they improve from game to game. Harris and Cox both have big-ten ready bodies so they should improve quickly with experience.

Kasparas Jakucionis, the 6-6 Illinois freshman point guard, was 2 rebounds from a triple double tonight. Took only 3 shots. 12 points, 13 assists, 8 rebounds.

He also played 33 min and was in the game with 2.5 min left when they were up by almost 30…sounds like some stat padding going on.
