I think that's his Brick from "The Middle".

He might be a better salesman than an X's and O's guy, although his team (even with their overall losing record) seems better in that regard this season. Also, it doesn't hurt that nearly all of his returnees have improved and three of his freshmen (Jeriah Horne, Isaiah Roby, Jordy Tshimanga) have been significant contributors in their rotation. In hindsight, it's amazing that they were as bad as they were in pre-conference play.

Like him as a person, but wouldn't want him as my coach.
Nebraska has some unique advantages...even being in the middle of the country. In Nebraska, they are the big show and is a reason why...even their middle of the road men's basketball team, can put 15k in the seats. Their new arena and facilities are awesome as well. If they could get a guy like Painter there, they would be highly successful, IMO. A guy who can identify the better talent in the country/region and then coach them up/improve them throughout their time in college...Nebraska would be a perennial NCAA Tourney team.

As far as basketball is concerned, Creighton is the big show out there. Now football, that's UNL all the way obviously.

Pinnacle Bank Arena is larger than Mackey Arena. That would be a big reason for that.
What's your point? Bryce Jordan is bigger than Mackey also, and it's a friggin echo chamber. The size of the arena alone does not create fan support.

You might want to check their attendance- it's more than ours.
Creighton's attendance is higher than ours too. Im not saying Nebraska doesn't draw a big crowd, I'm just saying that Creighton is the state's premier basketball team.
