of the year. Watched them for the first time this year. Both of their lines got manhandled. Didn't see an area they are outstanding at. Definitely not a top 10 team and shouldn't be in the playoff. They will still beat us 48 to 7 next week. BoBo need to wake up. It's time for a new coach for us.

An absolute joke of a schedule. They scheduled incredibly weak and have barely beat anyone with a winning record. Like 2020 all over again. Good team no doubt and significantly better than we are, but if they had our schedule they’d have 4 losses.

I agree 100%, not a fan of 12 , I liked 8
Funny how there was never any real discussion of 8. Seemed like the perfect number to me. Four major conference champs, room for a top g5 team, and still 3 more at large. Just make sure no conference could claim more than one at large spot and it was golden. As we can see, 12 just allows for more teams that didn't deserve it to have a shot.

We saw that the emperor had no cloths.

We are a very bad program right now and out performed a "top 5" program late in the year fighting for a CFP spot 😂.

6th vs. 106 SOS. I get it! IU was the football story this year, but after playing a top tier program they got dog walked.
Unfortunately, they're probably going to take it out on Purdue next weekend.

Cignetti has already been lobbying for Indiana. They'll be looking to put up 60+.

Lord knows Purdue's taken them to the cleaners plenty of times.

1. Strength of schedule will have improved quite a bit after yesterday, not just because they played OSU, but also because Nebraska, UM, and Washington are all now above .500 and bowl eligible.

2. Really good teams lose sometimes, especially on the road to even better teams. It’s way better than getting smoked by Oklahoma, Kansas, Auburn, or Florida. Like Bama, Colorado, A&M, or Ole Miss did.

3. IU’s college football playoff ESPN chances before yesterday? 96%. IU’s chances as of this morning? 98%.

I agree on the NON scheduling, btw done by Tom Allen ... but you know the BIG does the scheduling. Before the season predicted only 1 B1G win and place 17th ... they demolished all B1G except scUM but still won, much like Oregon against Wisconsin.

Even better? 16. It's makes games throughout the year way more important for a lot more teams and brings in way more excitement for the sport. Now there are 15 or 16 teams voting for the 12 spots rather than just 5 or 6 going for 4. If you feel 12 is a waste of time then why not do 16 for college basketball? 12 of the 134 get in. Thats about 8%. That'd be equivalent to March Madness being 28 teams. 25/26 teams getting into the CFB playoff would be the equivalent to March Madness right now with 68 of 352 getting in. Along with the fact that it helps spread talent as kids can go to several different places to try and win a national title instead of just OSU, Georgia, Alabama and a few others. Now guys can go to Indiana, Colorado, Ole Miss and the like.

I like 12 as it rewards the conference champions. I might say 14 and the top sec and big ten team champs get the bye.

This is gettin crazy. We had to 2 and people complained so they got to 4. Then it wasn’t enough and teams like fsu were upset. If you are in the 9+ range like bama, indiana, clemson, etc you really don’t have room to argue. In basketball we have 68 and people still whine about teams that get left out. I would have thought six would be good with big ten and sec champs getting a bye with Two best two non-sec/big10 teams (including Notre dame) playing two at-large.
