Louisville wide receiver Keion Wakefield is committing on Thursday, he tweeted last night. Wakefield does have a Purdue offer and camped at Purdue last month and visited for a junior day prior to that. That said, his Louisville offer seemed like a big one for him and Purdue is probably pretty close to its carrying capacity at wide receiver, especially if it still intends to recruit Terrance Landers.
Wakefield is more the sort of wide receiver that Nate Johnson and Jack Wegher project to be, so I can't say for certain whether Purdue remains an active participant here.
