A quick peek:
#4 Louisville loses at #12 UVA
#5 Oregon loses at #10 UCLA
#7 Wisconsin loses to unranked Northwestern
#8 UNC loses at #18 Duke
#11 Cincinnati loses at #25 SMU
#12 Virginia loses at unranked Va Tech
#14 FSU loses at unranked ND
#19 South Carolina loses to unranked Alabama
#22 Butler loses at unranked Providence
#24 Xavier loses to #2 Villanova
10 of the Top 25 lose, with 5 to unranked teams. Not as bloody as the previous two weeks but a clear indicator that many teams have multiple losses remaining and people who talk about a 4 being the best possible seed are not paying attention. Obviously Purdue would need to continue a run but a 2 or 3 are very much in the cards is we can go 8-1 or 9-0 the rest of the way. A 2 would be a longshot but a 3 for sure would be possible.
As for Purdue's ranking this week, I could see us at 13 or 14. We could pass UC, UVA or FSU but Duke could pass us because they are Duke.
