I don't think a team wants to be ranked number one because they end up losing the following week. Seems like teams like Kansas, OK, MSU keep finding ways to lose. And to make it better Duke and Kentucky keep losing. This is going to be fun come March.

Additionally, Ohio State is an enigma to predict. There is definitely some talent there, but you don't know what you're going to get or who will show up this year. The team that beat Kentucky? The team that trailed Rutgers @ home at the half?

If the Boilers aren't sharp, this could be a disappointing game.....we'll see if they've learned from the last couple of weeks.

The big 12 is by far the strongest conference this year so it's no surprise to see so much turnover at the top, especially with the schedules Kansas and Oklahoma have had to play the last couple weeks. I think North Carolina keeps number 1 for awhile but I agree I love seeing the parity and am also looking forward to tournament time.

Its just nice not having one dominant team. I get tired of teams like Kentucky and Duke winning all the time. Like I said it will be fun come tournament time. As of now it is wide open.

I agree, love college football but w/ a team like Bama winning every year I don't think it's good for the game.

Would everybody agree that this year will be the perfect opportunity for Purdue to get to the Final Four. Because you are right there is no dominant team in college basketball right now. Basically in my opinion there's not a team in the country that we can't beat. Let's all hope Purdue is playing their best basketball in March. I would be the first to say I was wrong about painter if we get to a final four.
