Smith not a good half he will come back strong and edey sat for a while should be able to get them in foul trouble early in second half
Painter playing a ton of guys that cant ****ing shoot and we cant figure out ehy we cant make 3s

Yeah that’s what worries me on both points. We are going to foul out our bigs if we keep this up.

Refs are horrible. Tenn playing good hard D and allowed to and Purdue has NOT played well and only down 1. Need something out of Braden and Lance to help and then someone else come in and be a difference maker. All that and if Purdue shot better from the line and Purdue would be ahead
A lot of that is Tennessee - tough on the perimeter defense. Agree with Bilas that Purdue should look to run a little. Knecht is a tough match-up.....he's really hurt Purdue.

I’m not much of a jay williams fan but I completely agree with him on this. There really aren’t any knock down shooters on this team. It’s gonna be tough to win 6 straight games in March without the shooters.
Fletcher shooting 13 times and 2-7 from 3 is not what I would call good. Need Smith and Jones to step up

It has been inconsistent both ways to me but definitely not why Purdue trails. It's 13-9 in fouls called.
I’m complaining because the refs are missing a LOT. Barnes is hoping they call even less. I’m getting texts from the game about how bad it is as well. I wouldn’t judge the effectiveness of the refs on how many FTs are shot, but rather how many fouls they call or don’t call correctly
I said the same thing at the half yesterday, Purdue played pretty lousy and is down 1, I like their chances. That was a brutal half to watch, my eyes hurt!
Don’t think the fouls should be near as close as that. I think it is the absence of fouls called that is the problem
Both smith and Jones need to start taking it to the rim Jones settling for the 3 too often and has the ability to get to the basket
they have to push the tempo like they did last night right after half, their D is making us set up our O too far out.
We have to play better as a team in the second half (or I hope that is the case).
Nobody around him!!! Couldn’t believe it. Fouls not called when D. ing Zach were horrible. Game stop when Purdue had an advantage? I’ve not bitched about refs very often, but they’d guys are a bad joke
