Not sure if this link will work or not, but a little article on swanigan in the Lafayette paper. Appologies if it doesnt work, but he said he likes Purdue and who they have.

I'll try it this way.
Purdue is an attractive destination to Homestead's Caleb Swanigan because of what the Boilermakers feature inside.

At least one of coach Matt Painter's 7-footers will return next season, and maybe two, depending if A.J. Hammons elects to enter the NBA Draft. That is appealing to the 6-foot-9 Swanigan, who has Purdue listed among his final seven schools.
"That definitely would be fun. Coach Painter is a great coach and what they do up there is a great system," Swanigan said following Homestead's victory over Fort Wayne Carroll at the Class 4A Marion Regional.
"I like Purdue. I like who they have there right now. They're big, they feed the post and they always get the ball inside and it's right here at home."
Along with Purdue, Swanigan's schools are California, Michigan State, Duke, Arizona, Kentucky and Chicago State. Swanigan was selected to play in the McDonald's All-American game.
Swanigan isn't worried about his position in college, but does prefer to play with a strong post presence.
"I want another big that can rebound and I can throw it to - kind of like I have with Dana (Batt)," Swanigan said of his 6-9 teammate, Dana Batt. "Sometimes, Dana looks like a five and sometimes I look like a five. You never know. It doesn't matter. You have to show you can play everywhere on the floor. I don't want to be pigeon-holed where I have to do all the rebounding and all the dirty work."
Regarding a timeline of his decision, Swanigan said he'll "announce when I'm going to announce soon."
Homestead defeated Carmel in the regional title game and will face South Bend Riley in next week's semistate in Huntington.
Purdue's 2015 recruiting class currently features Carmel's Ryan Cline and Hamilton Heights' Grant Weatherford.

Re: swanigan...seems to indicate...

that he wants to play with another big time low post guy so he doesn't get pidgeonholed would fit perfectly at Purdue.

Re: swanigan...seems to indicate...

Yeah and Izzo has already promised to play him at the 3.

In an article by the iuStar, they say he is 6'7". He wants to get ready for the NBA, so he's wise to look at a school with true centers.

Re: swanigan...seems to indicate...

Izzo also told Branden Dawson he'd be a 2 at MSU. Hopefully Swanigan doesn't fall for that......

Re: swanigan...seems to indicate...

Izzo would promise a kid he could coach a game if he wanted him bad enough, right after he skype's him crying with all his tears on how he's the next legend to wear to green.
