just an example of many many players who would not look to score

Wow, this thread was a complete waste of time.

Good luck to Kendall and hope he does well.
always like KS and when we got him out of H.S. I was hoping for a poor man's Reggie Miller but when this year began I didn't see much improvement on his outside shooting. By the time your Jr. season rolls around you got to have at least a consistent shot. Also wondering since Nojel Eastern is from Evanston if KS's situation will in any ways be looked on in a negative way.

I have a clue that every team they played left the perimeter pretty much unguarded all season long to defend the middle
Wow, did you even watch a game or two? Mathias, Cilne, and Stevens usually had a defender on them, and often, they were denied the pass unless they got way out on the perimeter. It was usually Ray's defender that doubled the post. We also had the problem of AJ feeling the need to score, so he rarely passed back out to an open guard. When AJ did pass out, it usually resulted in an open shot for the guard.

CMP also said many times in the past that KS had the green light to shoot. In fact, it was discussed previously by those that were overly-critical of KS on here. Especially when he was in a slump and he kept shooting.

KS fell behind because Dakota and Cline got better and that tragedy impacted that as well. But saying CMP won't let shooters shoot, is just ridiculous.
Reminds me of the silly claims that MP doesn't let his players drive to the basket.

Imagine if Tacos had been given the green light from day from one. Scoreboards lit up like a pinball machine. Rick Mount and Steph Curry gazing in awe and wonder. It's all CMP's fault this didn't happen.
Not to mention how much more fun could've been had with the nickname... "Tacos sauce is on fire!"
DAMN YOU MATT PAINTER!!!!!!

Tulane, Nevada, San Diego (not SD st, just San Diego) hmm, solid locations. Good for him, NO, SD, Reno(to a lesser degree) are all pretty cool places to spend 2 years.

Hopefully Jalen Hudson is less location focused - visiting us, FL, and Texas-Austin

he was excellent from 15-18 feet

The Tacos comments were pretty funny. I guess the one area that this makes sense is that Tacos was EXTREMELY tentative. He seemed to play scared, especially when he had the ball. But he wasn't a shooter so I didn't care except for when he was right by the basket and he would hesitate.

Regardless, I don't think Stephens was even remotely the same. He had the green light from day 1 and used it most of the time until this year.

My guess would be Nevads because don't they really shoot the ball from three a lot? Or is the BYU?
