West Virginia was busy causing turnovers on themselves. Really undisciplined.

#13 thumps #3.

I was thinking that as I watched them as well. Just masterful execution against the press.

How is Walkup not playing at a P5 school?

9 double digit seeds have advanced, tied for most ever...and still games to go.

Walkup was unbelievable. One of the most solid, all around players I have seen in a while. Very well spoken afterwards in the interview. Seven TO's for SFA for the game.

If an AD wanted to sell tickets, that style of play is certainly high entertainment.

And, if all the coaches of the schools that are getting beaten by the lower seeds step back and say "What is the common denominator for these schools that are winning?" I think the conclusion is pretty clear.

Agree,,,,,that was a clinic. And Walkup was just a meager 19-20 from the FT line....shades of Adrian Dantley. The Lumberjacks were dam impressive.....schooled WVU's pressure, and by the end the Mountaineers were gassed big-time....get Michigan/ND winner.

I think that's simplifying things a bit. There are extremely limited number of forwards and, particularly, centers. There's obviously a lot more guys that are 6' or what not around. So almost every smaller school is very guard oriented. But there's also a reason why guard play only gets you so far too.

Texas also in trouble at the half against Northern Iowa.

Longhorns have really turned it on in the second half....now lead by 4 with 13 to play after being down double digits in the first half.

Sounds to me like CMP and staff need to make a road trip to Texas and learn how to attack a press!

I'm a simple guy. I think if someone solves the biggest problem they have - in any situation - they are somewhere around 65% toward as good as things can get. After that is solved, one can take another look and solve the next problem.
