.........and he's injury free, right from the horses mouth
I can live with 28-12. Would like to see him build some more confidence on his shooting. His defense is probably my biggest concern but it was great to see him get quality minutes last night.Nice to see him get some minutes. I like the 25-15 split between PJ & Spike. I think they are both better with that distribution. We are going to need Spike's experience down the stretch & into the tourney.
Don't know. He said while being interviewed after the game that he was "injury free" and felt great. He said he is getting into "basketball" shape right now.I'm not sure about that. That probably means that he's as "injury-free" as he can possibly be at this point.

Yes. Other than hockey, basketball is probably the hardest athletic sport (in general) to get in shape for. The quick changes in offense and defense is very hard to not only attain but also maintain. With his back injury, I am guessing that Spike was only able to do minimal amounts of work to maintain that level of physical readiness.I thought he was in basketball shape in October. Did the injury and sitting out for about 2 weeks (or so) knock him out of basketball shape?
I think he's better on D than PJ... by a long shot.I can live with 28-12. Would like to see him build some more confidence on his shooting. His defense is probably my biggest concern but it was great to see him get quality minutes last night.

I do not think either are anything to brag about on D......Spike seems to be a crowd favorite and with the injuries you root for a guy like that....but most of the time he is on the floor, after 1-2 minutes.... I believe his former game location was a better place IMO.
