I posted here a couple weeks ago 22-9 (10-8) and although I had us losing to MSU when I predicted that, I'm sticking with it. I see no way in hell we beat IU or Maryland, and it seems likely we drop another as well. It could be worse than a 22-9 season, but god damn its disappointing THIS season.
So how do we finish?

IU, Maryland, and Wisconsin. Seems pretty level headed to me. Hell we could easily lose @ Nebraska or even at home to Northwestern. 23-8 is the ceiling and I won't even be shocked at 21-10. This team hasn't proven much if anything. Finally beat a good team, at home, with a guy shooting out his ass. Thank god for Davis and the game he never had before and never will again, otherwise we're lookin g at Pitt and Wisconsin as our signature wins.

I just can't imagine this team winning in Bloomington or beating Maryland. Which do you have as a win?They're hot, its on the road, and our team is not particularly tough or mentally strong. They are better now inside with Bryant, and shoot the hell out of the 3. I expect a double digit loss to IU. It may be tight at half, but they will overwhelm us and win relatively easily.

I think the team ends up 24-7 (12-6).
I'm not sure why you discount Purdue winning at IU, considering the success they've had against IU the last couple of years. It's also a rivalry game, so i don't think you'll see players not wanting it like you did today.
I also think winning at home against Maryland is also a bit foolish considering the hung with Maryland at their place up until the final few minutes of the game.
It wouldn't surprise me if Purdue buckled down and won out, but I don't enough faith in them to predict that. They'll likely drop a game somewhere. But I doubt it's worse than that.
The most urgent task for Painter is find out why his team keeps blowing leads.Right now he has no clue .He needs to find out and fix it.If its his coaching or the team attitude or an individual he needs to fix it.Without a repair job Purdue will not advance very far in the tourney.
I think we go 3-2 to finish 23-8. We will lose to IU. Maryland I think we will be motivated and can win that game but it's a toss up. If we beat MD, we will have one of those let down games at Nebraska. Sorry, I just don't see 4-1 the way we're playing. There's no consistency.
Orrrrr... Today is finally the wake up call & we finish strong. I think that's more likely than the team taking a slide. AJ has money to make. Ray has big goals to achieve still. As does the team.
Teams lose sometimes folks. One day this past week I noticed 4 out of 5 top 25 teams lost to unranked opponents. If you miss a bunch if bunnies & free throws & get out rebounded, you usually lose. Unfortunately it happened to us today.

Yesterday alone 10 top 25 teams lost. It has been a very strange year for ranked teams. We will probably lose a few more this year. I just hope once we hit the tournament we get the match-ups we need and play our game.

Yes, I am an IU fan, and I honestly don't see us beating you...We struggle with a half-court game, and it will be much like last year. Our chances are better cause your inconsistent guard play, but no way we match your inside game. Painter will make sure the ball goes inside, inside, and inside some more. If you don't throw the ball to the post, then he will sit you. Edwards, will be a big key to this game.
It will be interesting. I do think we are the better team, but IU has the offense in which no lead for us will be safe, which has been our MO all year. With the game being at IU, if I were betting, I'd have to go with the home team. Davis said after the MSU game that he wanted to win that game more than any other this year, including IU, since we hadn't beaten them since he was here. I think IU will probably want the game more since we are really only playing for positioning at this point and IU is still playing for the B1G. I do hope you are right though.

When we play with passion and aggression, we are hard to stop. We have the depth to go full go the whole game and not sure why we have these lack luster efforts sometimes, but that is when AJH and Davis need to show leadership and go all out and bring the rest of the group with them.
Cline and Biggie are starting to become more reliable on Offense and Defense, but our wins and losses are on the shoulders of Davis and AJH....if they play well and hard Purdue does well.
Boiler Up...should be a fun ride the rest of the way.......lets win a Bit Ten Tourney and get to the Final 4!

Doesn't matter I'll still be back calling you embarrassing people out. You cluless no-nut negatrons have no idea how to coach or even play organized sports.
I just have a feeling that winning the B10 tourney is gonna be really hard without a top 4 seed, fatigue will set in.

But we rarely play with passion and aggression! If ever! This team has no intensity about it. I always want to point to outside shooting, but yesterday I think we were 50% from 3, but yet wound up with just 56 points against a team we should have dominated inside. We somehow found a way to lose the rebounding battle against that team. The lack of passion and leadership is evident.
We can overcome Hammons not being outstanding. What we can't overcome is Davis and especially Edwards being totally useless on offense.
