Shame for Rutgers beating a #1 seed on the road.
8/9 game likely gives us Memphis in game 2 (assuming we beat the 16-seed play-in winner 😊)…. I watched a few minutes of the Memphis-Houston game earlier today and Memphis is scary good. Would not be surprised to see Purdue take a loss there.Yes! number 1 out East! Boiler Up!!!!!

Man I hope I’m wrong, but after today’s effort, I’m not confident. At all. Just sayin’
Uses one more year to perfect the downtown trey.I'm not sold Edey goes pro. He has a lot to learn, I'm sure he is tired of getting beat up but another year would definitely help his draft stock. I don't think he is top 10 tbh. Kentucky's NPOY didn't go pro last year, but he regressed. I think with only 6 years in organized basketball Edey sticks but we will see.... He will get an NIL payday and will have a fat insurance policy in case he gets hurt.
It's a bit of a bummer we could potentially see a lot of teams we've already played. Was hoping for the surprise factor with Zach.8/9 game likely gives us Memphis in game 2 (assuming we beat the 16-seed play-in winner 😊)…. Rutgers looks to be out - wow. Michigan State a (7) seed in the bottom of Purdue's bracket.

I hope he does. I'm curious how much higher his draft ceiling can go - I'm not sure a whole lot more so he might as well make a year to rememberI'm guessing he comes back.
Where is the sweet 16 games in the East?
They're banged up as wellMemphis is inconsistent like our Boilers. They look terrible at times and really really good at others.
Thing is, he's a back to the basket center and there's not many playing in the NBA. I think he comes back for sure....he's having fun, always smiling, and getting a lot more aggressive. Be great for the 7'2" kid to learn moreI hope he does. I'm curious how much higher his draft ceiling can go - I'm not sure a whole lot more so he might as well make a year to remember
I agree - I genuinely wonder if he will try to add more variability or his game during an additional year with the goal of improving his stockThing is, he's a back to the basket center and there's not many playing in the NBA. Florida Atlantic will be tough for Memphis. They dominated Conference USA. Remember North Texas?

Clark picked Purdue for Final 4.
Brutal bracket - s16 on dukes home floor. Wtf.
I think we are in a really difficult bracket. Last year the committee sort of paved our way to the Final 4 and we get tripped up by St Pete. This year, after the first game, we will earn everything we get.
Chris Reynolds using FAU to dunk on Purdue.Chris Reynolds using Duke to dunk on PU.
X-factor David Jenkins, knows this is his last chance to shineThe opportunity is there for the Boilers - gotta let it all hang out and go for broke. Purdue can beat any of the teams in the bracket - of course, on the other hand, plenty of teams in the bracket could also take them down.
Going to be an interesting next couple of weeks.

X-factor Fletcher Loyer, can he recapture his beginning of the year shot
X-Factor Brandon Newman, he's gotten better towards the end of the year, can he blow up in the tourney
