It would be a boss move if the conference cancelled the title game so they could get two teams in the playoff. Just watching Notre shame play the last decent team on their schedule in route to an undeserved playoff appearance and likely prison raping by Alabama again.
Anyway, beside my rant, thoughts on the conference title games in the 4 team playoff era? They seem to create some imbalance especially for the SEC who has the top two teams and 4 of the top 10 with UK knocking.

Interesting thought.

It would also be an interesting play, in this era in which ND runs from the rigors of a conference schedule and conference championship.

Ehhh, if ND skirts a truly rough schedule and the committee still puts them in...I don’t mind seeing Alabama or Clemson just trounce them in front of the entire nation.

I do enjoy the beatdown but there is always the chance they get lucky. Remember when O$U backdoor'd it in 2014? They won and they shouldn't have even been there. There's always the risk
