Haven't heard SWA mentioned w/ Purdue bball in awhile. Does seem Kansas is out. Anyone else got any news on that recruitment? Last I saw is he is entering decision mode after his official to Vanderbilt this past weekend.

This doesn’t necessarily speak to SWA, but it seems to me that the perception that the roster will be loaded next season is working against filling the 25 class.
Yeah if he wants to have a good amount of playing time he will have to beat out 2nd year burgess, DJ, 4th year Berg and 5th year TKR…tough to do in a complex system. So don’t blame him haha.

I’m not sure that there’s really an overwhelming need for a significant 2025 class unless a lot of guys leave. Especially if Burgess redshirts and will be competing at his position along with TKR and possibly Heide and Waddell. Two 7+ footers at the 5. It’d be great to have but not really a huge necessity.

If the goal is another Final 4 next year, having flexibility for impact transfer wherever a need is exposed this year is not a bad spot to be.

I get TAMU, they got the money and have been good/at least competitive….but ok state 🤨
If T Boone Pickens is around they have plenty of money to throw at recruits.

I like Lusk, but I do agree it's an odd choice as they look like a team destined to be a cellar dweller in a deep Big 12 that just added Arizona.

Boone died a few years back.

The official graphic.

0 read on this and going to spend $0 on insider information to find out.
His hair is different in the Vanderbilt pic so that's definitely a no there.

Coupled with the dual 33 jersey at OK State means that's a no there.

Looks like his eyes are closed in the Auburn pic. So a no there.

Ergo, he's coming to Purdue!

I have several chickens available if you'd like to cut them open to divine the future of Purdue Athletics?

Holy mother of God - this is the smartest thing I have read on this site probably ever.....

So, its down to us, Auburn, Ok St, and Vandy for SWA. Any idea where he's leaning?
I know he said he wants to decide in November. Being the optimist, I say he picks Purdue.
Just depends on what he’s looking for! Ppl said TAMU and Okie state, but TAMU out. OK state is more than likely going to be in the lower half of the big 12, but maybe they have more money to offer and it’s close to home? Maybe can play a ton right away?

Vandy, good education but never will be a powerhouse for bball. Prob will get as many mins as he wants.

Auburn, got the money but will need to reload as they lose a ton of their roster after this year (if I remember correctly). I assume he’d play good mins.

Purdue, won’t get paid as much probably, has opportunity to play a lot, but will be tough with a very experienced team. BUT he will be on a team contending for (maybe) a 4th straight conf championship or 3rd in 4 years. Also, get developed by one of the best in the front court, play with his buddy Jacobsen and compete on a NC contender…but just may not play a ton right away or at all.

Yeah, he did say he was big on winning and Purdue's culture has shown that. I find it interesting
that his rivals profile says "small forward". I didn't know he could handle the ball that well?

Yeah he can from highlights I have seen and can shoot the 3. Still a bit raw but the skills are there for next level…if he’s developed correctly. He’s also got some high level athleticism.
