Physical tools are there, but Robinson needs to have more consistent effort to truly become an impact player. He says that'll come as he better understands the new defense. We'll see.

He's been getting pushing by Austin Larkin, the newcomer, this spring. After spending the first day with the 1s, Robinson was passed by Larkin and hasn't regained that "starting" spot opposite Evan Panfil. Don't envision Robinson getting shut out on game days in terms of snaps, but there definitely could be more of a rotation there than initially expected.

"We’re definitely two different type of players," Robinson said. "I would see myself more of that power player, and he uses his speed and his technique more to his advantage."
