We are less than a month away from signing day for the 2015 class. According to this G & B site we have 22 commits.

Anyone have any insight as to what else may be going on? Any others about to commit? I have read that this class is suppose to be between 25 - 30 so something better start appearing or we won't hit that number and will find ourselves out beating the bushes for JUCO players again. And, that doesn't help Purdue build a program.

Long term, you may be right. But Bill Snyder seems to have done a stand up job at KSU with his reliance on JUCO's over his time there. JUCO's can help complete the class and bring in players that may be more ready to contribute (if you can get them on campus early enough). You can't tell me a couple guys like Randy Gregory for the team next season wouldn't help the program long term (even if it creates unbalanced classes). At this point, Purdue needs to get the best players they can possibly get a hold of no matter if they are 5th year transfers, JUCO's, freshman, or any transfers. There isn't a player good enough on the roster outside of Bentley who should be guaranteed a starting spot next season based on the last two years.

I can see some thinking like that but I will never......

Dream big and reach for the stars.....Astronaut

Build your dreams.........Best Engineering programs in the world

Business School ranked high, Liberal Arts growing....all is good at Purdue and the athletics will be again soon.

Purdue may not have the wins to keep the fair weather fans happy right now but those of us who believe in the University and believe in Purdue as a whole know we will get back to the Rose Bowl someday and for us it will truly be sweeter.

Boiler Up!

Purdue has a full visit schedule for January. Check Boiling Over tomorrow for details.
