As of now...haven't heard of any receivers in a much needed position. Of course we have quite a few needed positions, just hope we can pull a few rabbits out of the hat. I know coaching has been a huge upgrade, but we some talented players in the portal.

Definitely need WRs for sure. Our QB has no reliable WRs to throw the ball to with Klare gone (yes, I know he is a TE).

However, we could use some DL help and secondary help too, even though we did get a DB from the Portal a couple of days ago.

Also need more LB’s. Only had 8 on the roster last yr. Lost 1 or 2. Most were not very talented. Need about 6-8 more BIG/SEC caliber LB’s. Looking at the playoff teams and other top teams all carry 12-16 or more LB’s. Only Boise State had less at nine.

We will only play 2 at any time just like last year. I think 6 seasoned LBs is fine. We got the two Arkansas LBs, Berglund, Davis, Hudson, and two freshmen. One more would be good but I also think we can convert some edge rushers or even some larger DBs. Maybe Trey Smith.

Hudson? do you mean Miller ? he's not a BIG10 caliber LB

Doubtful if Odom plays the same crap D that Walters played. And 8 is barely enough, injuries, special teams, etc. take a good look at the top teams rosters, 12-16 LB’s. Walters overloaded with DB’s; Brohm overloaded with WR’s,

He won’t play the same crap D, but I assume it will be the same good D he and his DC played at UNLV which used 2 LBs. If we had 14 LBs for 2 positions (7x), we would need about 165 players which is 1.5x roster limits. Assuming you only have room for about 4 per position, 8 is totally fine. We have 7, hoping we get Mani Powell to get us to 8. We can move guys around if necessary. Don’t forget we have a HARD roster limit of 105, last year I count 117 we won’t be able to carry as many players. And I think those teams you see with 12-16 will have to trim some back too.
