If this forum believes that Painter asked Hill to take the last shot then you are delusional. We can blame Painter for a lot of things, but in the end the players have to hit the open shot. Today they did not. Yeah this sucks but some people need to just turn off their computers.

Again, logic has no place on this forum. Only PMSing and jumping off of ledges.

The thing is he did, what happens is all that matters in a game! Purdue took 2 terrible shots, one at end of each overtime, and just flat out got beat. Painter is the coach, he recruits, he has team play his way, he decides who plays, it all is on him!

Prove otherwise BolierMagi.

Agree with Skyboiler...as of right now, Purdue Boilermakers have the worst Men's revenue athletics in the nation. It is not even close.

I hate that we choked again, but we are far, far from the worst, at least in basketball. What % of teams even made the NCAA? Thanks players & coaches for a good year in hoops. We all wish it could have ended better.

Ok, so we choked. Would you rather get embarrassed by KY and go out that way (such as IU on Saturday), or would you rather get beat in the 1st round? I think you would take the UALR heart-break before you would take a loss to a Calipari coached team, right. So feel good that IU is going to feel so bad. They are just a terribly coached team

For all the crap we give Crean, it wouldn't surprise me if fan's of the school down South are happy that Painter's job in secure.

There is no real silver lining here. The loss sucks, it hurts, and IU losing tomorrow will do nothing to make me feel better about the fact that we squandered an excellent opportunity to get to final 4 and compete for a title.

I want to see a few final fours in my lifetime and a national championship at least once in my lifetime, if possible.

ok, same here,,, so you're a good fan which is admirable. But IU getting spanked by that crook Calipari would just stick in their craw,,,LOL, so yea, it would make my Saturday night if nothing else, LMFAO.....so yea, there's that.

Horrible logic. I'd rather advance and take my chances.

No, I would MUCH RATHER get beat by KY. At least that's a school with a winning legacy.

You have to admit, it takes the sting away. When other people get beat that were 3 seeds above us and in the Big Ten and beat us in the Big Ten championship game, and favored to possibly win it all and just busted everyone's bracket ,,, it helps. we were blamed for busting everyone's bracket. But MSU just DESTROYED everyone's bracket. It makes me feel giddy and I have completely forgotten the Purdue loss now.
